About
My team and I bring over ten years of experience organizing a wide range of spaces, from kitchens, closets, and home offices to large homes, storage spaces, and multi-room projects.
I hold two degrees from Stanford University, where my studies focused on human-centered interaction and design, along with a minor in psychology. This background informs my approach to organizing: spaces should feel intuitive, support daily habits, and reflect your personal balance of aesthetics and function. I find meaning in helping clients identify and use the items that matter most.
We help clients categorize, declutter, and create storage systems that are functional and easy to maintain long-term. Our goal is to create systems that feel natural and continue working for you long after the organizing work is complete.
As needed, we also source and install organizing products to ensure everything in your space works seamlessly together. For larger projects, I bring in additional experienced organizers so we can move through spaces efficiently while maintaining a thoughtful and careful process.
When projects generate a large volume of items to remove, we coordinate donation pickups, hauling, or junk removal services so the process runs smoothly for our clients.
I understand that organizing often involves personal spaces and sensitive information. Our team approaches every project with professionalism and discretion.
If you’re considering an organizing project, feel free to reach out and tell me a little about the space you’d like help organizing. I’m always happy to talk through the project and help you figure out the best next step.
Customers rated this pro highly for work quality, professionalism, and responsiveness.

Joy worked miracles in our garage. In about 6 hours total, she accomplished what would have taken us months, if not longer, to get done. She has a great eye and is able to look at a space and make smart assessments about what will make it more efficient and pleasing to be in. She worked really quickly (always a plus when you are paying by the hour!) and made things easy for us by sending links to products that she thought would work well for us, ordering products (and offering to return them if they didn't work out!), and bringing everything over to our house. She even took bulky trash/items out of our garage to the dump. I'd recommend her work unequivocally to anyone who has a homeorganizing project. We are so glad we found her!

Joy has wonderful ideas for organizing that are not only beautiful but functional as well. We have two young children and all the organizing she has done for us has been fantastic and super helpful. She created a system and a place for everything!

Joy is exceptional! She really takes the time to get to know her clients, and commits to ensuring that your space is perfectly designed and organized for you and your needs. Prior to our session, she spent time with me asking me detailed and pertinent questions about how I live in my space, and worked up design docs and furniture suggestions before she even arrived. Her process was still lightweight enough that it didn't feel like a huge lift for me, but clearly enabled her to get a great sense of how I operate and what I really wanted to get out of enhanced organization. During our session she was super friendly, professional, and organized (which I guess is to be expected!) and adapted quickly to slight changes in her plans as we explored the space together. After our session she sent me a detailed doc with measurements and suggested furniture/organizational pieces, and has continued to send me tips and recommendations as she comes across similar issues or spaces with her other clients. I love having the flexibility to design my own space, under expert advisement, and I feel that because I was involved and engaged in the process I can maintain the organizational techniques she used in my space. Thanks Joy for a terrific experience!

My craft room is so much more organized now and everything has a place. Joy is a great motivator and knows all the right tools to separate and organize things while also keeping aesthetics in mind. We laid out goals for the room before starting and she helped me hit each one!

Working with Joy was easy! She didn't try to nudge me to get rid of things, just asked me what I wanted to keep, and organized it neatly so now my space looks good and I can find everything. She was cheerful and efficient. I can't recommend her highly enough!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most projects are billed hourly. After learning more about the scope of the project, I’m usually able to provide an estimated range of hours so clients have a sense of the overall investment before we begin.
For larger projects that involve multiple sessions or team members, I’m also happy to discuss a project-based estimate once we’ve had a chance to review the space together.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually start with a quick conversation by phone or text to learn about the project and what the client is hoping to change in their space. From there, we either schedule an organizing session or, for larger projects, I may recommend a short in-person consultation to walk through the space and discuss goals before we get started.
During our sessions we typically start by clearing out the space so we can see everything we’re working with. Items are then grouped into categories, which makes it easier to evaluate what should stay, be donated, or stored elsewhere.
For larger projects, my team may begin this sorting process ahead of time so the client can focus only on the decisions that truly require their input. We create clear groupings and an “ask client” pile for anything that needs clarification.
Once decisions are made, we design simple systems to contain and store the remaining items in a way that makes the space easier to use and maintain. My goal is always to make the process as efficient and painless as possible, especially for busy clients, by only involving them in the decisions that matter most.
If a client prefers to be more involved in the process, they’re always welcome to work alongside us and participate in each step. Some people enjoy being hands-on while others prefer to step away and check in periodically as we work through the space. We’re happy to work with you either way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have three years of professional experience organizing homes, including one year training with NEAT Method, a luxury home organizing company and one of the leading organizations in the industry. Through my work, I’ve organized a wide range of spaces in homes of many sizes, from compact studio apartments to 10,000-square-foot residences.
