Introduction: Fitness has been a big part of my life since I was 16 years old. I have trained family and friends since I was 18 years old. Love what I do, love getting my clients results and helping them make fitness and health an important part of their lives. I like that I can make a difference in someone else's life. I can help them feel better about themselves, whether it is gaining more strength, lose weight, feel more energetic, more mobile and etc. This makes me feel good at the end of the day and inspires me even more to continue doing what I already love doing. :)

I'm always a little skeptical when it comes to working with personal trainers because all of them profess to know everything and then they're always lacking something.. nutrition, customized plan etc. On the recommendation of a friend I decided to hire Christina for a 12 week training body makeover. She listened to everything I had to say, understood my busy schedule, and designed a customized plan that I am still doing long after the 12 weeks was over. I was a little worried about the cost, but now that I look at it I was paying for her years of experience to completely customize the perfect plan for me. I was hundred and 93 pounds, 5'10" tall, and had 23% body fat. I am a 44-year-old male After 12 weeks I have 14.9% body fat and I weigh hundred and 73 pounds, and lost 4 inches off my waist I'll bet I added 10 years to my life. What is that worth? And the best news of all is the motivation that I received to keep me accountable and on track. A several hundred dollar investment that was the best investment I've ever made.

I really enjoy working with Christina! She creates a great effective program for me and it's fun at the same time! She gives me some nutritional tips and always keeps me challenged. My goal is to get more fit and gain strength, and already I have almost reached this goal after working with her for the past two months. I would recommend her to anyone!

I always have fun working with Christina! We do half indoor half outdoor training. Since we started working together a month ago, I feel stronger, leaner, and more mobile. My goal was to get stronger and gain more muscle, and I feel like I'm on the right path! She is great at correcting my form and creating a fun yet challenging program!

What can I say, Christina will whip you into shape. Those familiar with Biggest Loser, she is similar to Bob in personality. Sweet but will make sure you do the work. Thanks Christina for helping me kick off my fitness routine. You figured out what my level was and create a great plan for me to build up on.

Christina is a great trainer. Her best contribution in my case was to meet my fitness goals without exhausting all my energy! It is amazing how much can be achieve if one works with his/her energy in pursuit of one's fitness goals. Christina helped me understand how to do it with a thoughtful, not very complex routine that I could eventually execute on my own. Highly recommend her services for a very personalized, goal oriented training approach.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We first speak via phone or meet in person (even better) where a potential client and I get to meet each other. We discuss his/her fitness goals and clarify the plan of action to arrive to these goals. Then we schedule a first session (regular length) which is comprised of getting aquainted with the fitness space where we will be training, a fitness assessment and the first short workout. After this we schedule the first personal training session.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I always educate myself, research, attend conventions, and such because I really enjoy learning! Right now I am taking a great college nutrition class. I just attended a fitness conference that I go to every year! I got certified to teach kettlebell traing there as well as behavioral/lifestyle modification coaching. I took many great classes on nutrition, functional movement, medicine ball training, and weight loss. I plan on getting TRX certified in the beginning of May. I currently am also a personal trainer at a great company here in SF.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    It started with my own background in dance and fitness. I helped a few of my family members and friends to get in better shape and it made me feel good to see them achieve their fitness goals. There I knew that I was doing what I really enjoy! :)
