Introduction: Daily Hero is an all encompassing fitness program that offers training in weightlifting, bodyweight skills and facets of dance/yoga. This program focuses on pushing what you are capable of and tailors a range skills to your individual goals and interests. I offer a custom workout program tailored to your specific goals and interests. Build muscle, lose weight, boost endurance, learn skills, lift heavy, etc...we can work on whatever you would like. We will be able to mix and match a full range of workouts and exercises for your needs. My own background is in breakdancing (12 years), calisthenics and basic gymnastics. This option is great for beginners and advanced athletes. A program can be built around functional strength development up to specific sport training or skill work. Workouts will take place at my home gym by Japantown in Pacific Heights: fully equipped with olympic weights and rack, gymnastics rings, medicine balls, plyo boxes, turf section, etc...everything you will need and always adding more! Sessions are private, no distractions! I love seeing people learn skills they thought were either too hard or simply something they just would never attempt. Everyone has that "thing" they want to learn and I have the tools to get them there. Clients get a deeper understand of themselves and their abilities. It is amazing to watch the transformation.

Spencer is a fabulous trainer. I'd initially been apprehensive about hiring a personal trainer because I had no idea what that experience would be like, but that anxiety instantly dissipates once you meet Spencer. He is extremely approachable and an all-around nice guy. As a trainer, he is high energy, encouraging, and sometimes very silly (in a way that makes training fun). "Choke out that barbell like it owes you money!" and "The motion you want is as if you're pulling out a ninja sword from its sheath!" are just two of the myriad things you might hear when you train with him. I really appreciate his flexibility, as well. As a lawyer, I have a crazy schedule, but Spencer makes time on the weekends to see me and is accommodating when I need to make last minute changes. Even during COVID times, we've been able to train outside, socially distanced, with masks and sanitizer and all that good stuff. I've had six sessions with him and already see results in terms of strength, weight loss, and confidence. This has been a fantastic personal investment for me, and I cannot recommend Spencer highly enough.

Spencer is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. As a former DI NCAA athlete, I need a trainer who can push me but also be mindful of my injuries while helping me reach my fitness goals. Spencer tailors our workouts so that I see results and feel healthy and strong. His "be your own hero" approach make each session lively and fun; a nice change of pace from your traditional personal trainer.

Daily Hero provides an outlet for me to explore fitness in a creative way that doesn't feel too mundane. Strength, endurance, toning up, improving flexibility; this style of training does everything to get you fit quickly and improve athletic ability.
