I have been in the fitness industry is SF for 12 years. I have helped people to gain muscle mass, lose weight, and rehabilitate from injuries, among other things. I hold my clients accountable, but train in a fun and friendly way. I love what I do, and I hope that my enthusiasm helps those who train with me to stay motivated. I just finished my first session with Jason, and I couldn't be happier about it. I have never been very comfortable exercising around other people, so I chose to work with him at the smaller studio he trains at in the Mission district. It was just the two of us in a private studio, so I had far less anxiety than I would have had around other people. The session itself was awesome! From the moment we started, he had me moving around to get warmed up. Without realizing it, he had incorporated many of the movements form our workout into the warmup, so when we moved on to the more fast paced work, I was already familiar with most of the exercises. Best of all, I told him I had always wanted to do a pull-up, but I thought I would never have the strength. He added it to our workout, and I did 10 of them! I had to use a band to do it, but it felt so cool just to be able to pull my chin over the bar. Our goal is for me to do 5 without the band within 6 months. I'm really pumped to get back in and get to work!

My workouts have been awesome. Jason is great, and I love the facility he trains at. We're working on rope climbing, and I'm going to take part in a Tough Mudder this summer!

I'm having fun working out for the first time in my life. Jason has a great sense for being able to push me to give my all, while at the same time he makes the workouts really enjoyable.We played a game where I had to throw a 12 pound ball into a ring across the room, and then run and get the ball again. It was like playing corn-hole, but you don't realize you're basically sprinting back and forth the whole time. He also spent almost 20 minutes talking with me after one of our workouts about my diet. He really cares about his people, and you can see it in the way he treats you. I highly recommend training with him!
