FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I start at $65 depending on: traveling distances, whether is a package deals or a la carte lessons. Prices vary for a package of 10 sessions ( 650$). Or 85$ a la carte. 10 % added to lesson price if outside of San Francisco.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For my most typical customer, I present the 10 session Learn-to-Swim Program. I assess medical conditions/injuries, find out the client s motivation to swimming , disclose about limitations & expectations of learning to swim, advice on swim props and aids (fins, noddles, pull boy, buoyancy shorts) and even home programs (yes you can practice swim skills in your tub, through breath retention and regulation, or even using a straw or your coffee table!)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have thought in many environments and with various demographic from toddlers to teenagers to adults with fear of water. I worked at Sacramento Pipe Works, Lake Tahoe Community College teaching spinning classes and coaching the masters program. I lifeguarded in public pools for the City of Paris and in private pool parties. I hold many certifications as attached and was a former Division I swimmer specializing in the 200 meters Butterfly. I swam nationals so I had the experience with world class and olympians. I also have experience from working with infants and para athletes, vision impaired for which I carry the Adaptive Swim certification with Swim Whispers.
