As a teacher, it is my goal to adapt to the needs of each student. Not only regarding their schedules, but also in their preferences and objectives.
In addition to my training and experience in Spanish and English, I create spaces of trust in which my students can relax and feel able to ask and speak in Spanish without fear of making mistakes, thus achieving a constant advance in language management. I also provide creative activities, that include games, music and even puppets!
The satisfaction of my students when they realize that each time they speak, they write and read better and more fluently. I make sure that my students enjoy each class, which makes me enjoy them as well.
Also being in contact with people who enjoy learning and who are constant in what they do is a very rewarding experience

Katia is great! I scheduled my first lesson with her and she started right on time, even messaged me right before to ensure I was ready. She makes you feel very comfortable speaking with her in Spanish and goes just slow enough to make sure you really understand. She has a great way of explaining things in both English and Spanish. I am looking forward to more classes with her.

Katia was prompt, prepared and always positive. Our student is not exactly happy about learning but he was always willing to go to his Spanish lesson. He connected well with Katia and respected all the teaching angles she used to help him. Highly recommended.

Katia is a very passionate Spanish tutor. She is patient and knows how it is important to build a foundation at the beginning. I have the sense that if I stayed focused and practice, Katia will lead me to way of learning Spanish from a foundation of understanding that will allow my skills in reading writing and speaking this beautiful language grow and blossom.

Katia is very patient. She understands that learning a second language is difficult and is willing to do whatever she can to make sure that each tutoring session is a success. She pushes me just enough to make me think and work, but she also reviews past lessons to make sure I know and understand what I´ve learned.
