Turn around time was prompt, all communication was timely and professional, no-mow sod installation was beautifully done. The project had stone borders on 3 sides and CRC cleaned up the underlying growth, and carefully reinstalled the stones flush with the new sod. We highly recommend their work.
Walter and his father are a fantastic team. They did an excellent job putting in two 35 feet long stepping stone pathways in my front yard. Walter responded quickly, gave a reasonable quote, was on time, and worked efficiently. I basically knew what I wanted for the pathways, but Walter made the project even better with his constructive suggestions. I am thrilled with Walter's service and the outcome of the project. I would definitely hire him again.
Gussnito renovstion did an ok job, he got in over his head a bit but made things right and hired other people to help with the right expertise. In the end he did right although cost were a little higher. He’s an honest guy trying to do the right thing.
Junio does excellent work and was very meticulous with prep and cleanup. Even after taking out a sink and old granite tile and replacing them, my bathroom walls were in perfect shape and there wasn't a spec of dust anywhere!
I highly would recommend Jensen for your go to guy for any project you have. Jensen did an amazing job today on my patio, We decided to hire Jensen because he qouted us a price that fitted me and my husbands budget. We love our new quartz tile stone patio Jensen installed for us. For sure we are hiring him again for our additional projects. Cheers!!
Ricardo was recommended by a friend & did a great job with my backyard. My backyard looked like a forest. Ricardo cleaned everything out & brought down a 20foot old tree that was dying. We then decided to go with decomposed granite with stone walkway. He added plants along the walkway for extra decoration. Looks amazing. 10/10
Very not-trivial front-yard landscaping project completed by David and his crew without a hitch. Project included removing large amount of soil, building split rail fence with 9 hand-built stone veneer columns and red wood 4x4 rails, installing stone veneer around the front of the house (about 80 linear feet), installing about 800 sq feet of artificial turf, adding about 5 tonnes of cobble stone, truck load of mulch, planting a tree and about 40 plants, adding drip irrigation system and trimming 4 medium size trees.
I called Rob because I wanted the appt a day earlier, and he was so professional and full of wonderful ideas. He designs using Feng Shui principals , gave me great ideas for stone work, lighting, and design, had lots of photos to see and great references. His crew started this morning and the progress is exceptional. I'm so happy i found Quiet Elegance Landscape, Diana McNeil
Mr. Reyes has helped us to establish a water saving backyard. He is talent and experienced. He did wonderful job to install dripping system, stone pass, dry creek, and plant all drought tolerance plants. He also transformed our old fence to a beautiful new look. His rate is very reasonable. with his hard work, our backyard has become a beautiful garden. Thanks, Ismael! Nina
This is a reference letter for Michael Ngo. Its done in appreciation for all the beautiful work at our home. Michael remodeled all 3 full baths in our house, including all the electrical and plumbing work. I asked him to remove all 3 old full baths and rebuild all 3 as brand new. Unlike other contractors I had experience with before, Michael is one step ahead. He has strong attention to details and an uncanny eye for style/color coordination/design/functionality and has superior workmanship. I bought my house around 15 years ago and had remodeled my bathrooms once after we bought the house (before we met Michael). The previous contractor did a horrible job and I hated my bathrooms for many years and decided to remodel them again few years ago. I came to know Michael and asked him to remodel one full bath downstairs first just to see how it goes. I told him that I wanted a more traditional look that is suitable for both male and female taste. The result was fantastic and I loved it! Michael took the time to check out the various stones and cabinet designs and when he decided that he formed the right picture in his mind with the various styles, he took me to choose the stone, the cabinet, the faucets, etc. I would pick out of his recommended choices. But sometimes I would look at something else and asked him why he didnt recommend those other ones and he would tell me why he didnt think that they were suitable and after hearing his analysis, I would always go back to the ones he recommended. And I couldnt really picture exactly how everything would finally come together, but he will always reassure me his usual phrase Dont worry, it will look beautiful. I can assure you I am extremely picky. And sure enough, every time the final result looks beautiful. After I remodeled my downstairs guest suite full bath, I couldnt wait to let Michael remodel both baths upstairs. I told him I wanted a contemporary look for the full bath for my sons room. And I wanted a classic and romantic look for my full bath. Both of which came out beautiful and I love using all my bathrooms now and I proudly showcase to all my friends and relatives when they come visit. Michael did a lot of work for my master bath upstairs because I wanted a totally different layout because the old layout was not functional. I wanted more space for the shower and I wanted the toilet to be separated from the shower. He redesigned the space for me so now I have a much bigger shower and the same space looks a lot bigger than before and I asked him to put in a Jacuzzi tub as well. He also added mood lights with dimmer for romantic feel (he took me to pick out the wall lamps at the light décor store), recess lights, etc. He added power outlets in the toilet room (my husband specifically wanted outlet plugs right next to the toilet)! Installed vents for the toilet room and the shower room All in all, Michael and Reliance Home Improvements crew did a great job remodeling my bathrooms and I love and enjoy the results every day and will sing Michaels praises to everyone I highly recommend Michael and his crew if you are looking to remodel your kitchen or bathroom .
The job was to design and execute on a new garden in front of our house including a sea of French lavenders and poppies, rock fountains, soil change, creation of elevations, stone path, smart watering, selection and purchase of stones.
From first meeting Michael Martinez, he handled the entire process. He started as our designer & consultant. Then he created the proposal with great cost to value & signed us up. He project managed & has remained in touch with us to make sure we are still satisfied with our family project & everything is holding up. We really enjoy having him around. He is welcome at our home anytime & is a friend of our family now. We had some obstacles to overcome & he was there every step of the way. He was honest, competent, very respectful to our family, needs & time. The material arrival, labor & project coordination stayed on time throughout the process. They were professional, courteous & kept things cleaned up each day & after the project. We recommend Michael Martinez & Black Diamond Paver Stones & Landscape to our friends & neighbors. We would certainly use Michael & his company again! Sha- Saddleridge – Pleasant Hill, CA
David and his crew did a fantastic job. Love the stone work, sod and sprinklers him and his crew did. He sticks to his bid price even if he does a few extras. I can't recommend him enough. Great price, great work!!! Don't think you'll find a better guy to work with.
Richard is so knowledgeable and professional, and a complete pleasure to deal with. He has executed and managed a great number of things in our yard, including re-grading, stone wall construction, wood retraining wall construction, soil improvement, landscaping, planting, etc. Our yard is looking great and the talk of the neighborhood!
John and his workers did an outstanding job. They built a three-tiered stone retaining wall, installed french drains and an area of crushed basalt, planted and added irrigation. They were timely and responsive - a pleasure to work with. John also did some trouble-shooting of my irrigation system that involved replacing a valve and installing a new soaker line.
John and Steve did a wonderful job making my garden shine again after 9 months of neglect and these last few months of draught. I liked their combination of aesthetic and practical know-how, and they were fast workers as well. One plant got taken out in the big weeding, but John quickly offered to replace it with a new one. They are both personable and have a lot of creativity between the two of them: a large unused rock looked "lonely," John said, until he put it in the center of a clump of chamomile; a neglected stone fountain got a place under the peach tree; Steve helped me see that the abandoned metal chair looked cool with the moss growing out of its seat, so I left it there. If it works out, I hope they'll be abe to maintain the garden over time- basically do what the tenants do not/cannot do when I leave the country. Thank you!
Backyard cleanup, installing stone and three camellia bushes, dead ivy vines and one tree removal.
Josh was our tile guy for our house remodel. He layed over 900 sq feet of tile, floorboards, replaced our fireplace with stacked stone, and placed all the backsplash in our kitchen and bathrooms. He did an amazing job. We get so many compliments on his work. Josh is the nicest guy, shows up everyday, on time! He is neat and so professional. We liked and trusted Josh immediately. We would recommend Josh to anyone!
A portion of our fence blew down with the big storm last week. I setup a project on Thumbtack and Stone responded immediately. He came out to the house, reviewed the damages and provided a reasonable estimate; and, what was best is he could start work immediately before the next storm hit. Sione and his workers began the next day to completely replace the portion of the fence that had blown down and to also repair other parts that were in need of mending. The job took less than two days to finish. I am completely satisfied with Sione's work and professionalism. We will be requesting to use Sione for additional work in the future.
