Clifford's band was professional and wicked good. Hire them, they will not let you down.
We feel so fortunate to have had such an amazing band play at our wedding. They are unbelievably talented. Thank you for making our special day even better!
I saw The Groovy Judy Band play last night at Jam Cellars in Napa. They totally rocked! My friends and I initially stopped by just for a glass of wine and stayed until closing. It's nice to see quality rock and roll in a classy relaxed atmosphere. What a fun surprise.
Rob Bennion's band, Gold Standard, recently performed at our daughters wedding. They were incredible! I was hoping they would live up to their promotional videos but they were even better!! Every moment of their performance from the cocktail hour, to background music during the program, to the dance portion of the evening lived up to, and surpassed every expectation we had. Rob was also very easy to work with. He answered every email quickly and worked closely with our wedding planner to make sure the evening was the memorable event we wanted it to be. I would highly recommend Rob and Gold Standard for any event you might be planning. You won't be dissapointed!
I actually had the pleasure of using this state of the art studio for the last 6 months to produce my last album. There are a few things I'd like to say. First off, the space is one of the most beautiful studio spaces I've encountered. There are three iso rooms, all of which are constructed with the utmost care for sound quality with varying sizes for any bands accommodations. Second, All the gear is there. From Protools HD to top notch Neumann mics. And last but not least, the inspirational, warm and inviting design. From the wood and marble trim everywhere to the artwork and color scheme. Also, I know it's silly but the bathroom is something straight out of architectural digest. Not a huge deal, but relaxing for those long mixing nights. All in all I would absolutely recommend this studio for your next recording project. Because at the end of the day a studio is a studio (I mean my first iso booth was a closet lined with mattresses). But if you have the chance, treat yourself to the 5 star pro experience.
Seth is a terrific teacher for both adults and children. Both of my children learn from Seth, one in a personal setting and the other in a band setting and both are thriving and loving playing their instruments. I am taking an adult rock band workshop under Seth's tutelage, and I've never had more fun playing music in my entire life. I look forward to each week's jam session.
One of the best dance bands in the East Bay. They keep an audience on their feet all night long!
My son and his classmate took saxophone lessons with Andrew to be ready for Fall Band in 5th grade. He is straight forward and they learned fast from him. I highly recommend him.
I'm a beginner to guitar, having played a little piano and drums before. Been working with Chris for a few weeks now and it has been a blast. He's a talented musician who is connected to the music scene. I wanted a guitar teacher who was connected to the local music scene, and so I've really enjoyed working with Chris and even going to see his band perform. I also love how Chris walks through songs and is able to write out the tabs and chords on the fly, and then on top of that show me multiple ways of playing the same song. Highly recommend.
I was recently married on June 17, 2017 in L.A. California! Upon planning for the wedding I was slightly worried about finding the proper music to accommodate my husband's family. They are from France and I wanted them to be able to recognize and connect to the ceremony through the music. On the other hand, my family is Jewish. After doing some research I stumbled across Barbara Ochoa and her band OrKestra International. She sings in several different languages, was so personal and accommodating over the phone I thought I have to listen to her sing and prayed that I would love it. Lucky for me and my fiance, we did just that. We fell in love with her voice and knew instantly we had to book them. She explained how she could do a French song at the ceremory, a trio of European favorites for dinner and an American party band with horns that included the Hora for the dancing portion. On the wedding day Barbara and her band were beyond prepared. She told me “I have all the music covered, don’t worry” at first I though it’s my wedding so I’m going to worry but everything went so smooth all night. Funny everyone was singing along when they did "Volare." So many of the guests that came up to us had the same thing to say: they danced and had a blast. I think she must have handed out about 20 of her cards that night. Thank you Barbara for such a genuine experience that none of us from that night will ever forget.
Martan has been doing a wonderful job teaching my teenage son jazz piano for the past few years. Martan has a proven approach starting at the basics and advancing to very sophisticated techniques at a pace the student can handle. The techniques my son is learning are also directly applicable to playing jazz on other instruments such as the saxophone that my son also plays in his school band.
Natalie has been fantastic to work with! Her instruction through exercises, general tips/suggestions, and specific ideas when working on a particular song has all been stellar and on point throughout my work with her. I feel like I have improved dramatically over the course of our lessons, and my band members have made several comments about my improvement as well. She has an uncanny knack for knowing what I am doing with my breath, diaphragm, throat, mouth, etc., and being able to suggest just the right adjustments to make things sound better and more comfortable to sing. Natalie is a wonderful person, too, very encouraging, supportive, and respectful. I highly, highly recommend her!!
My daughter took guitar lessons from Michael for years. He was great and she learned a lot. She played jazz guitar in Albany middle and highschool jazz bands and continues to play in college.
Love the versatility of the band and how you can play various genres of music. We also really enjoyed the dance routines that band performs with the songs - this is truly unique to FSE and all our guests loved it!
In a short time had a beginner performing live with a band in front of co-workers at a party. Kevin used many helpful tips and tricks to help me learn the minor and major chords to play.
Professional, talented musicians. A pleasure to deal with. They get it.
The Refugees are the most authentic Tom Petty tribute band in the nation! The band was named the top tribute band in the entire SF Bay Area in 2009 on KFOX 98.5 FM.
