Introduction: As a professional violinist, I played classical music for over 20 years in the chamber, full orchestra (a concertmaster as well as a solo violinist). I started playing violin at age of 5, got my bachelor's degree in Violin Performance, and master's degree in Music Psychotherapy at New York University. In the past 5 years, I discovered my passion for Improvisation, Jazz, Pop, R&B, Hip Pop, Electronic, Movie, and Video Game music on the violin. I played with musicians across the genre and cultures. Sophia was so amazing. She was able to play a wide range of music from Broadway, Classics, Disney and even Chinese selections. Our guest loved her music and enjoyed requesting songs. Amazingly she knew every song request. It was an elegant touch to our dinner at Skates on the Bay in Berkeley. We can't wait for another event to have her perform at.
