Introduction: The first thing I should mention is that the service I provide is exclusively original bespoke design and construction. I do NOT do alterations or repairs. Depending on the garment bespoke prices start in the $1200-$2400 range. That does not include materials.
For thirty five years I have patterned and constructed costumes for stage and screen for opera, film, and live performances. In addition I have created numerous garments for individuals ranging from elaborate wedding gowns to custom pieces for Cosplay and private events. Intricate leather work is a specialty of mine ranging from elaborate hand cutwork high fashion pieces to original custom design and fit fetish wear. I love the process of imagining, creating, and completing garments that elicit the reaction of, "That is perfect! It's exactly what i had in mind.”
Being able to take a client's vision and turning into reality is my greatest joy. I love collaborating, consulting, and bringing a person’s ideas to life.

A friend needed an unusual custom wedding dress made. Matthew was recommended to me so we got in touch with him. He was very responsive and quickly came up with a good plan for realizing our vision. He helped us select appropriate fabrics, created a pattern, and after multiple fittings, delivered exactly what we'd envisioned. He was a pleasure to work with and his price was less than other dressmakers we'd consulted. Highly recommended!

Beyond amazing. He is a visionary. Bring a few ideas to the table and he will run with it and create the most amazing piece. I worked with him on a custom wedding gown and it was everything I could have imagined and more.
