Mayra was so punctual that she had to wait for me to arrive, she is so professional. With only a couple of photos of things I could like, she managed to understand exactly what I wanted for both hair and make up, even more than I did! While she was working we were also chatting and that was very nice too. But, most importantly, I felt so beautiful and everybody just kept saying I was, which is exactly what you need on such a special day! I would recommend her to anyone, I couldn't have found a better hair and make up stylist for my wedding.
The moment we met Saundra, we knew we had to use her, as our wedding officiant! She was professional, friendly, helpful, organized, punctual, and well-spoken. What stood out the most about Saundra, though, was her wonderful personality! Interacting with her was so natural! It almost felt like we were working with a member of our family! Saundra literally went above and beyond for us! Before our big day, she met with us several times to make sure she had a clear understanding of what we wanted for our ceremony. She would also frequently check-in with us, via text and email, to see if we needed any help with our vows, offer advice, and give us helpful suggestions to help us personalize our ceremony and make it special. On the day of our wedding, Saundra showed up early to make sure everything ran smoothly. Holding a ceremony in front of 200 people was quite intimidating, but Saundra was there to guide us (and the members of our wedding party) through every step of the way and really put us at ease. She made sure that everything went off with out a hitch and one week later, our guests are still telling us how much they loved our ceremony! It was literally everything we could have hoped for and we could not have done it without her!!!
We had a wedding rehearsal dinner on a Friday and I connected and ordered on Tuesday of the same week. Professionals all the way and the food was outstanding! Thank you Evan and Gabby!
We were looking for a "day of" coordinator for our wedding...so I started looking on Thumbtack for help. After reading reviews on Michael and his profile, we met up at a local coffee shop to talk about what our needs were and if he could do it. I had a great feeling about him right then...I even showed him our card table ideas and wedding favors, and he gave me better ideas of how to set them up (talk about "thinking outside the box!"). Up until the BIG day, he kept in touch, asked how things were going and if I needed any help....I so much appreciated these messages being the nervous bride! The day of, he was punctual, was able to get through a "check list" I made him regarding set up and timing...and, most importantly, he kept me calm! If any "hiccup" came up, he fixed it in an instant! I truly believe our wedding ran smoothly and on time, thanks to Michael! I would definitely hire him again for any party planning/coordinating needs...or even floral needs (he is a great florist, too!) Thank you so much, Michael! I don't know what I would have done without you!
Alisa was hired to cater our wedding of 35 guests at a private residence. She went above and beyond call of duty with cocktails, appetizers, the dinner, and setting up, breaking down the event. She arrived early to set up for both the ceremony and the dinner, and provided the cocktails and beer which received reave reviews from the guests. For the appetizers, she provided polenta bites and bruschetta in keeping with our Italian menu and both were really tasty. The dinner menu consisted of a caesar salad with grilled salmon, tomato bisque, and a cappellacci di zucca; all were truly delicious. She cleaned up the same night, making it easy for us to enjoy the kitchen the next morning for breakfast. If I were to host another event, I would hire Alisa in a heartbeat.
Tiffany is the most amazing wedding coordinator!! Tiffany was the day of coordinator for our wedding of about 150 guests on January 23. 2016. From our first meeting I loved her! I planned our wedding with the help of my mom and best friend but did not know how to organize the details and the importance of a timeline. Tiffany changed all of that and helped ensure that our wedding was streamlined so that it flowed and had order. Tiffany also took charge of contacting my vendors and keeping them informed of plan changes, venue information and their expected time of arrival. She also, helped decorate our reception with all of our table linens, favors, diy flowers, candles, our cake table and kid's room. She is AMAZING! We loved our wedding and Tiffany was a major part of our enjoyment. If you are looking for a dependable, professional, bride's best wedding friend, Tiffany is the go to person. Thanks you SO much Tiffany for all of your hard work, David and I absolutely loved our wedding!
Vinnia was fabulous! She was so sweet and super helpful. She had no trouble coming to my home and hotel for my Engagement Photoshoot and wedding. She always checked in to see if I liked my makeup. She does amazing hair and makeup! She really knows to how work with your facial features and hair texture. My hair and makeup lasted from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. on my wedding night! I will definitely call Vinnia the next time I need my hair or makeup done. I highly recommend her!
Liz was beyond professional and very easy to work with. She made me look absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day along with all of my bridesmaids and my mother. She was very friendly and really fun to talk to. She was willing to do whatever we asked her to do and made us all look so great. She arrived right on time and was happy to have me text her over pictures to give her ideas of what I wanted. I was so beyond pleased with how I looked and I would definitely hire her again and absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for make up for their special day. I had a contract for myself and 2 of my bridesmaids. It included Bride makeup & hair and for my 2 bridesmaids only make up with lashes. Months before the wedding I had sent out pictures of the make up and hair due we desired. The day before my wedding Cassandra texted me the pictures I had sent to her previously of our looks. She said make up artist Ayana would arrive at my hotel door at 5:30 am to set up and start my hair @ 6:00am, then bridesmaid #1 @ 7:00am for make up and 2nd bridesmaid at 8:00am for make up then to follow it would be myself @ 9:00am to do my makeup. I agreed and said it was great sent her my hotel room number. I was aiming to be done by 10 am. Her make up artist Ayana showed up 1 hour late. I had called Cassandras mobile number 2 times and left a voicemail, she then texted me back at 5:55am," Hi! I just called Ayana, she must be running late! So Sorry!.." and "Just spoke with her. She's driving from San Mateo and said she'll arrive by 6:30 or so, which is more than enough time for everyone! No worries!!!" She started to work on me at 7:00am. Ayana did half of my hair and while doing it she used our crulying iorns because she only brought one. I was completely fine with it. Ayana mentioned that Cassandra never told her to show up @5:30am that she took the job because it was a last minute thing and Cassandra had no one else to do the job. She then continued with my make up & it did not come out nearly what I had previously sent to them. I was still optimistic being that it was my wedding day and I wanted things to go smooth. She did not completely finish my work and started working on one of my bridesmaid at 9:50am. By this time we knew she would not be able to complete my 2nd bridesmaid make up, therefore my bridesmaid left to MAC to try and get her makeup done. Luckily they took her in. My bridesmaid that had her makeup started at 9:50 am was still not complete and it was already 11am. I was not able to take pictures with my bridesmaid due to timing. Every one was running late. Finally, the bridesmaid who left to MAC came back looking flawless and Ayana had ask to take a picture because she would let Cassandra know she did not have time so she had to go to MAC. My other bridesmaid make up was HORRIBLE and rushed!!! 11:15 am and still not complete. She was also unaware that we were all doing lashes because she said Cassandra did not inform her. This was a very disturbing experience and I am looking forward for a refund! No bride should ever go through anything this horrendous. Moral of the story, if you have a small bridal party do not book them because you will not be their priority!!! Cassandra and I had a few text the day of my wedding. Anaya had lied and sent her a picture of my bridesmaid with MAC makeup and tried getting credit for it. I instantly gave her a little background of what had happened and Cassandra said she was not late and that Anaya had more than enough time to finish all three of us. Such a bad experience. Manya and Jessica did a fantastic job at our event! The designs were great and the children loved them, as well as the parents. Our event was a huge success because of Dazzling Streaks, and we will certainly use them again. I highly recommend!!
AnnaMarie was a fantastic wedding planner and coordinator for the day of. She was always approachable through phone call, text, and email, and always very responsive. I suspect I could have easily contacted her twice as much as she would not have minded. She always had immediate answers to my questions, too. She had no problem travelling about 50 miles for us for the site venue walk through, the rehearsal, and the day of the wedding. AnnaMarie was incredible on the day of our wedding, she handled all the problems and didn't let us have to worry about them. She put up all the decorations, and handled all the details according to our wants, and stayed until the end of the night cleaning up, and really went made the day run smoothly. I would definitely recommend AnnaMarie and AR Weddings N Events for any of your party coordination/planning needs.
What a wonderful experience working with Jackie. She was punctual, kind, professional, warm, and maybe look absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day. Thrilled with her as a person and professional and I look forward to getting my makeup done by her again!
Matt was the sole event designer for my wedding, and I have to say, he is one of the most talented people I have ever worked with. He was patient with me during the entire planning process, always listened to my ideas, and offered better solutions where necessary. Forsyth Designs took care of my flowers, decor orders / rentals, ceremony and reception setup, and were the first point of contact for all vendors day of. Having planned and produced so many events flawlessly, he did all of this with ease, and no task seemed to be out of his reach. I would highly recommend Forsyth Designs for your wedding decor and flowers. Very easy to work with, and Matt is a really great person that you will want to be a part of your BIG day. He will bring your dream wedding to life!
Jen is amazing! She responded quick and made me feel comfortable. She did an amazing job on my makeup when I went to a wedding. She even helped me fix my hair. I would definitely go back to her for my future events
Angelie did a wonderful job with my makeup for my wedding. She was on time, professional, flexible and all with a smile. She took my suggestions after my trial and everything was perfect for my actual wedding. She also jumped in and gave me a great updo when my other hair plans fell through just a few weeks before.
Jelise was awesome she rolled with the punches when we asked her to do an extra person on the day of the wedding. She also rolled with the punch when we changed the way we wanted our make up done last minute. She is a great makeup artist!

This review is long overdue (wedding was 10.20.17), but I wanted to make sure I shared my experience with Exquisite Weddings & Events! I had decided to plan everything myself to save money (bad idea). About 6 weeks before the wedding I was so stressed out, up to my throat in "things to do." It dawned on me that the only way I could maintain a healthy level of sanity was if I hired a day of coordinator since I had done mostly everything else up to that point. I wasn't able to meet Jill in person until the wedding because I live in San Diego (wedding was in Yosemite). She was very friendly and professional for our consultation call - I immediately felt like I was comfortable working with her long distance and hired her the next day. Let me just say, Jill went above and beyond BEFORE the "day of" that I hired her for. Although I had done a lot (so I thought), there was still so much more to do... thank goodness Jill was there to help me! She tied up loose ends with a couple of the vendors that I had been having a hard time communicating with. She stayed on top of keeping in contact with all my vendors regarding any changes, confirming details, etc. She was even so kind as to loan me a few decorations that I couldn't figure out at the last minute. As soon as Jill got to the cabin on the wedding day, she immediately got to work setting up last minute decorations. I didn't see her again until the ceremony and she did a great job making sure everything ran smoothly. After the ceremony, she went straight to the reception and met all the vendors there to help get everything set up. When the wedding party arrived, it was clear everyone had been taken care of. Needless to say, the rest of the reception was a breeze! I would highly recommend Exquisite Weddings & Events. If I had to do it all over again, the only thing I would change would be to hire Jill as my full time coordinator rather than day of. For the price, it doesn't get any better! Thanks Jill!!
I could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator than Alanah to help make our day perfect. I hired Alanah super last minute (2 months before our wedding) after our original coordinate left the company we were working with and from the minute we hired her she helped to keep me calm during a stressful time. She had great suggestions during planning and helped us to find a new DJ (who was also fantastic and not ridiculously priced) on 2 weeks notice after our original DJ canceled. On the day of she got everyone doing exactly what they needed to be doing without ever coming across pushy or rude. I highly recommend you hire Alanah for your wedding, I know my day could not have been as perfect without her!
DJ DannyJ was spinning music all night for a friends wedding I attended. He's not your typical DJ! Which is GOOD!! Enthusiastic, energetic and most important works hard making sure everyone's enjoying themselves.
Kayla was very professional and humble, down to earth. She listened well to what I wanted and was open minded and willing to change anything I wanted. Even through got it down pretty much first shot. All in all I would call kayla again for my wedding and recommend to anyone who needs a great service and makeup done.
