Mayra was so punctual that she had to wait for me to arrive, she is so professional. With only a couple of photos of things I could like, she managed to understand exactly what I wanted for both hair and make up, even more than I did! While she was working we were also chatting and that was very nice too. But, most importantly, I felt so beautiful and everybody just kept saying I was, which is exactly what you need on such a special day! I would recommend her to anyone, I couldn't have found a better hair and make up stylist for my wedding.

Dan and I first met Saundra on June 7, 2014, 11 months before our wedding. I was originally concerned that she was located in Castro Valley and it would be some travel for us to have meetings with her, as we live in San Francisco. Saundra was more than willing to come to San Francisco to meet us, and I was pleased with her flexibility and willingness to make it easy for us. When we first met Saundra, we knew very quickly that she was the right officiant for us. She was very warm and open and an interesting person, and it was very easy to talk with her. Our first meeting was 11 months from our wedding date, and Dan and I really did not have much of an idea at that time what we wanted our ceremony to be like. Saundra really helped us by making several suggestions and reviewing options with us. We walked away feeling like Saundra would be the perfect choice as our wedding officiant. We did not meet Saundra again for a long while, but had many email exchanges along the way, going back and forth ironing out all the details for the wedding. Saundra really made the whole process easy and enjoyable for us. Our wedding day of May 2, 2015 could not have been more perfect, and we are thrilled that Saundra was a part of our special day.

We were looking for a "day of" coordinator for our wedding...so I started looking on Thumbtack for help. After reading reviews on Michael and his profile, we met up at a local coffee shop to talk about what our needs were and if he could do it. I had a great feeling about him right then...I even showed him our card table ideas and wedding favors, and he gave me better ideas of how to set them up (talk about "thinking outside the box!"). Up until the BIG day, he kept in touch, asked how things were going and if I needed any help....I so much appreciated these messages being the nervous bride! The day of, he was punctual, was able to get through a "check list" I made him regarding set up and timing...and, most importantly, he kept me calm! If any "hiccup" came up, he fixed it in an instant! I truly believe our wedding ran smoothly and on time, thanks to Michael! I would definitely hire him again for any party planning/coordinating needs...or even floral needs (he is a great florist, too!) Thank you so much, Michael! I don't know what I would have done without you!

Tiffany was the day-of coordinator for my September 2015 wedding and was phenomenal! I like to consider myself someone who thinks though all of the little details on her own but Tiffany had plenty of great questions about my big day that I hadn't even thought of. She was very responsive over email during the planning stages making communication and updates super easy. She arrived early the day of the wedding and took care of all the set up and vendor management allowing me to just sit back and enjoy my final hours of being single. More importantly, she cleaned everything up after the wedding so that when we came back to pick everything up the next day, it was all organized - the venue looked like we were never even there! I would definitely recommend Tiffany to anyone looking for someone who can jump into an event day-off and make sure it goes exactly how you planned. Thanks Tiffany!

Vinnia was fabulous! She was so sweet and super helpful. She had no trouble coming to my home and hotel for my Engagement Photoshoot and wedding. She always checked in to see if I liked my makeup. She does amazing hair and makeup! She really knows to how work with your facial features and hair texture. My hair and makeup lasted from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. on my wedding night! I will definitely call Vinnia the next time I need my hair or makeup done. I highly recommend her!

Elizabeth was excellent! We hired her as our florist for our wedding in Burlingame, and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. She made suggestions when we weren't sure what kind of decorations we wanted, and she was able to create our centerpieces from pictures we found online. I gave her a swatch of our color and she was able to dye calla lilies to match the color exactly! Her prices were very competitive, and she was responsive to any questions that we had throughout the entire process. She showed up on time to drop off the bouquets/boutonnieres, helped with the setup, moved vases from our ceremony to our reception, and then came back at the end of the night to clean up and take the rented items back. And everything looked GREAT! :) She was very nice and professional and I would definitely recommend her to anyone! Thank you so much for making our wedding that much better, Elizabeth!

Matt was the sole event designer for my wedding, and I have to say, he is one of the most talented people I have ever worked with. He was patient with me during the entire planning process, always listened to my ideas, and offered better solutions where necessary. Forsyth Designs took care of my flowers, decor orders / rentals, ceremony and reception setup, and were the first point of contact for all vendors day of. Having planned and produced so many events flawlessly, he did all of this with ease, and no task seemed to be out of his reach. I would highly recommend Forsyth Designs for your wedding decor and flowers. Very easy to work with, and Matt is a really great person that you will want to be a part of your BIG day. I would highly recommend LadyMarry, I was travelling from overseas for my wedding and Birte could not have been more helpful, any advice I required she happily gave, responded to all my e mails in a timely manner. April arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. We had two brides in our wedding party and she did an incredible job listening to what we wanted and executing it perfectly. She left us with tips on how to refresh the look as the day went on since we had about 6 hours between finishing our hair and the start of the ceremony. She did such a great job we didn’t even have to touch up our hair! I would hire April again and recommend her to anyone interested! She was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had and addressed any concerns that came up.

Velina was the designer of my wedding this summer and it was PHENOMENAL. Velina did our invitations, of all our wedding decor, and even our persian ceremony alter (called Sofreh Aghd). Velina and I spoked in detail about what I was hoping for and what I wanted, and she created a wedding theme/vibe that was beyond what I had even dreamed. Her attention to detail, her care for every little component was amazing and we cannot thank her enough for the most special day ever.

Heidi and Ashton were the perfect day-of wedding coordinators. When we arrived at the site on our wedding day, everything was beautifully set up as if by magic. Gracefully and unobtrusively, they made everything happen. They arranged flowers, set up the wedding altar, wrangled vendors, and guided guests through the day’s various phases (ceremony, reception, toasts). They even served us cake and champagne. Our guests remarked on how “effortless” the wedding seemed; this is largely due to Birminkeley’s hard work! Birminkeley also helped plan our wedding. They visited the venue with us and talked us through everything from where to seat the guests to how many tablecloths to order. Later, they helped us search for wedding vendors. Despite our tight timeline (~2 months), they found us a wonderful photographer, rental company, and makeup artist. They were persistent and tenacious in making sure the vendors would adhere to our venue’s strict requirements. In addition to being very capable, flexible, and affordable, Heidi and Ashton are very pleasant to work with. Their calmness and perseverance helped us get through a very stressful time!

This review is long overdue (wedding was 10.20.17), but I wanted to make sure I shared my experience with Exquisite Weddings & Events! I had decided to plan everything myself to save money (bad idea). About 6 weeks before the wedding I was so stressed out, up to my throat in "things to do." It dawned on me that the only way I could maintain a healthy level of sanity was if I hired a day of coordinator since I had done mostly everything else up to that point. I wasn't able to meet Jill in person until the wedding because I live in San Diego (wedding was in Yosemite). She was very friendly and professional for our consultation call - I immediately felt like I was comfortable working with her long distance and hired her the next day. Let me just say, Jill went above and beyond BEFORE the "day of" that I hired her for. Although I had done a lot (so I thought), there was still so much more to do... thank goodness Jill was there to help me! She tied up loose ends with a couple of the vendors that I had been having a hard time communicating with. She stayed on top of keeping in contact with all my vendors regarding any changes, confirming details, etc. She was even so kind as to loan me a few decorations that I couldn't figure out at the last minute. As soon as Jill got to the cabin on the wedding day, she immediately got to work setting up last minute decorations. I didn't see her again until the ceremony and she did a great job making sure everything ran smoothly. After the ceremony, she went straight to the reception and met all the vendors there to help get everything set up. When the wedding party arrived, it was clear everyone had been taken care of. Needless to say, the rest of the reception was a breeze! I would highly recommend Exquisite Weddings & Events. If I had to do it all over again, the only thing I would change would be to hire Jill as my full time coordinator rather than day of. For the price, it doesn't get any better! Thanks Jill!!
