- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I often have an informal phone interview prior to accepting new training clients or setting evaluation appointments. This gives me an idea of the issues to expect as well as the potential trigger for the issues. After the informal interview comes the evaluation in which I observe the dog in his natural habitat, his behaviors, and his responses to correction of unwanted behaviors. This allows me to come up with a customized training plan that fits the needs of the client and the personality of the dog.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have almost a decade of hands-on experience working with rescue dogs. I have rehabilitated abuse cases, aggression cases, and anxiety issues.
