- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please provide a complete address for quote so that I may consider travel time and complexity of the property appraisal is for. Please state the purpose of the appraisal (IE. Fair market value, estate purposes, divorce settlement, etc. All fees are competitive, customary, and reasonable. All fees are payable at time of inspection via check or cash. All quote requests are kept confidential.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A quick examination of the property via the internet to access style, location, and a preliminary scope of work after researching the property address public records data . Then I call the requester to discuss fee quote and scheduling. Most appraisal reports are turned around with in 24 hours of the date of inspection with a pdf version of the report provided to the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education is required for all appraisers in advanced residential application and case studies, Uniform Standards Of Appraisal Practice (USPAP), just to name a couple as the amount of courses for continuing education are extensive.
