Introduction: Hi, I'm Val. I was promoted with no official training. I struggled with performance, behavior and moral challenges. Determined not to fail, I picked up every book I could find, earned my MBA, coaching and organizational culture certification. I learned about what intrinsically motivates people and turned my struggling team around.
After leaving my corporate job, I founded Executive Muse to teach small and large companies like Citrix, Facebook and Gonzaga University the leadership skills to create highly engaged employees.
