When my wife and I needed to hire a contractor to renovate our kitchen and 2 1/2 bathrooms we turned to Thumbtack for references. We needed a contractor whom we could trust and have confidence that the job will get done on time and within budget. We interviewed 3 companies but finally decided to go with Guy and Nuhome. They were not the cheapest bidder to be honest. But When deciding to do a project with substantial funds involved it came down to who we felt we could trust and have a good working relationship. We found that person in Guy. From beginning to end he helped us through the entire process from design concept to construction and finish. All the while keeping us constantly informed on the process through whatsapp. As with any project of this size there were hiccups along the way but his constant communication and helpful suggestions smoothed over the rough spots. Budget wise as I stated previously there were some unavoidable changes that had to be made but they were handled quickly and for a reasonable amount and we were able to stay within our time table. Overall we were exceptionally pleased with our experience with Guy and Nuhome. The finished product exceeded what we had envisioned for the project and my wife is very satisfied with the outcome so I'm satisfied.

We recently completed a major renovation with Clarity Construction, including a kitchen remodel, master bathroom upgrade, guest bathroom remodel and an open-concept redesign. From the very start, the experience was seamless and well-organized.

When they say, ""third time's a charm"" it's true. I thought I had been lucky with my first 2 remodels, until I met Guy. Never have I had such an enjoyable experience, working with someone. I learned from him, I was allowed to be creative, and I cannot be more pleased with the final results.
From the moment I met Guy and NuHome Remodeling, he stood out from the other contractors from whom I asked bids. NuHome’s business model of providing all labor, getting permits and assisting/guiding you in purchasing building materials was the perfect fit for me. On my end, I was responsible for choosing/buying flooring, lighting, doors, etc. which I loved.
Guy was always there, when I asked for help. He offered suggestions when he saw I was out of my depth. His happy, high energy kept the job at a quick pace. Total construction time for my amazing space was 1 1/2 months. Visitors are amazed that the space was filled with old furniture, vines and spiderwebs for over 17 years.
My recommendation to anyone is that you give Guy a call. The exuberance Guy displays during the consultation is never-ending. Guy is a person who keeps his word and wants to see his clients happy. This is someone you want to work with.

We Remodel & Build
We purchased an older family home in San Jose from 1915 that needed a complete makeover. We also planned on increasing the home square footage by adding 1,500 sq ft.
Me and my husband both work for a major tech company and were referred to We Remodel And Build internally by 3 coworkers who achieved similar projects in the Bay area.
As first-time homeowners we had very limited knowledge of all that despite some preliminary research we had done prior to meeting with Shay. He made it simple to understand and gave us a precise idea of what to expect. His authenticity and transparency when it came to costs and timelines reflected a strong work ethic that our coworkers had mentioned as well. We interviewed 2 more contractors but we clicked with Shay immediately.
The first phase of the project consisted of working hand in hand with We Remodel And Build’s architect and engineer. Both were a fountain of knowledge and answered all of our questions promptly.
Once the drawings were ready and approved by the city, Shay and his crew started executing the plans. The crew was punctual and organized and the quality of craftsmanship exceeded our expectations.
Shay beautifully blended the old charm of the home with the new addition. He is extremely responsive and coordinated the whole project with the best possible manager. We were hesitant on the 1,500 sq ft as it felt too overwhelming, stressful and expensive but as the construction work started, we realized that it was more fear than harm and today we are at peace with our decision as it not only added significant space to the house but also increased the value of our property.
The result is spectacular and it is now our turn to recommend We Remodel And Build.
