I did not know what to do when I bought a marble slab that was on clearance. I knew I wanted to use it to replace my 1980s existing bathroom countertops. Joey and his brother of Subia’s Granite and Marble took it from there. They were Great! They came to my home measured, picked up the stone, fabricated and cut it , removed the existing tops and hauled them away! The finished product was all that imagined and more! They installed the under mount sinks and new faucets also ! My bathrooms look Fabulous! If you want a company that does it all for you, worry free , it’s Subia’s.Jul 16, 2020Verified
Overall, we had a pretty good experience with Joey Subia. There was some delay in the schedule due to one of his crew members getting sick, but we can understand this - flu season is upon us. The countertop installation itself was quick and professional, couple of small gotchas were quickly sorted out and fixed. I would work with them again if we have similar project.Oct 21, 2019Verified
Joey was contracted on October 8 2018 to install our countertop. He did not appear with the stone until mid December 2018. When he did show up, the stone pieces were 4 inches short on one piece and an inch short on the other. I refused to have this installed with extra patches of stone tacked on. I asked for my money back and was refused. I sued and won a small claims case against Joey for the full amount paid. He has not paid yet!Oct 26, 2019VerifiedSubia`s Granite & Marble's reply
Hi this was an inappropriate way to conduct your business I did everything in my power to satisifie you as my customer .. You o aid for the material it was yours not mine and I appealed but unfortunately i was unable to make it.. So you won a not so prepared case I didn't have time to prepare.. now I believe you had a case against my company continuing to harass me is unlawful.. You Are exaggerating 4 inches short on 2 sides it was one side 1 inch only cause you added after the fact cabinet.. on one side. I saved your material for 6 months on my truck expecting this but threw away to soon.. but I have photos of the section on question I will post here soon.. I was going to take to the appeal because what you said in court was an exaggerated lie.. the pictures will prove it.. I will speak to company lawyer on how this is suppose to play out after a court order.. small claims .. You were unresonable.. only gave me one week to resolve the issue and hired someone else... My mistake is I should have installed it period..
It took me months to find someone to replace the countertop on the bathroom. Many flaked out, were unresponsive, etc. This constractor was absolutely amazing though! Gave a quote on the same day as I posted a request, clarified the details of the project and was able to come and do the installation 2 days later. The countertop looks amazing! Very happy with their work.Nov 16, 2016Verified
Joey and team did an excellent work installing 4 pieces of countertops in kitchen, hall and dining. Ours is a galley kitchen and one of the sides was a peninsula that's really long (132" x40"). Joey didn't hesitate a bit to take on such work. He guided me through the process very well - e.g when I am supposed to go to quarry for picking stone, when he would do templating and installation. He coordinated with my kitchen remodeling contractor too, who told me he was quite impressed with countertop work himself. Joey was very flexible with pricing schedule, asking just about what was needed at that time in the process (e.g. advance for buying 2 jumbo slabs from MSI). He does fabrication work in his shop and then comes himself with a team to install on site. Amongst all (5+) countertop installers I interviewed, Joey's was the best offer. I will go again with him in future and also recommend to my friends.Apr 14, 2020Verified
