Dance with Ivan

With over 23 years of dance experience and 14 years of teaching, I bring both passion and professional expertise to every lesson. As a winner and finalist at international competitions, I’ve performed on some of the biggest stages in the dance world, including the prestigious Blackpool Dance Festival (ranked 26th), the WDSF Open in Helsinki (semi-finalist), the German Open Championship (ranked 30th), and the Tallinn Open Cup (ranked 20th). I work with all levels: from absolute beginners to competitive dancers and adapt each lesson to your goals. My unique teaching method blends solid dance technique with posture training in a way that’s both effective and fun. I believe learning should be joyful, so my lessons are structured to be engaging, encouraging, and filled with positive energy. I’ve choreographed many memorable wedding dances and helped my ProAm students consistently win and place at competitions. Whether you're looking for group classes, private lessons, a stunning first dance, I'm here to make your dance journey exciting and rewarding. I teach in various studios across the Bay Area and also offer the option to travel to clients for lessons in the comfort of their own home.
