Other company's offer the same service but want to charge heavy prices and want you to wait 2 to 3 days to get it we offer same day service or next day. The smile that be on the customer's faces after I get finished with a job. Or after we put something together for a kid they come out and tell us thanks or offer us a tip.

I give Pratt's Trucking a 9.5! As a Realtor, I sometimes stage my own listings. I hired Billy Pratt of Pratt Trucking to "de-stage" a listing. I was deeply impressed with the level of care he took with my beautiful furniture. He wrapped all pieces in shrink wrap as we were storing it in a very dusty warehouse. He was polite, hardworking and on time. Billy's rates are competitive. I appreciated that he took the time to do the job correctly, and did not cut any corners. Yes, there are others out there who are faster, but they tend to damage my expensive staging furniture. I want a careful mover. I have also seen Pratt's assemble furniture from IKEA at a client's home. They lay all the pieces out on moving pads so your furniture is assembled without a scratch and is assembled correctly. Why squander your valuable weekend assembling that annoying IKEA furniture when you can just hire Pratts? They will do a better job than you, and you won't have a sore back! They also deliver it!

I hired Billy of Pratt Trucking a couple weeks ago to assembly some furniture from me. I needed 13 pcs to be assembled that included patio furniture, display cabinets, 2 barstools and various tables. He and his colleague were extremely professional and completed the job in less than 1 day. I would definitely use Pratt Trucking again and I highly recommend them!

I hired On Deck to assemble my IKEA furniture. I called them after the delivery as I realized the task at hand was too much for me (4 IKEA pieces). The two including Billy Pratt arrived in the evening that same day and stayed until the job was done and did a beautiful job. I highly recommend them!

He called me and talked me that he would come to my apartment on Sat, 10am, and would call me to confirm Fri night. Then he did not call me Fri night. On Sat, I was waiting for him, but he did not come at 10am. I called him then he told me he was busy and would be able to come to my apartment before 11:30am on Sat. I told him it was OK to change his appointment, but at least he should ask me. Again he didn't come 11:30am. I called him again, and he told me that he just left San Francisco and will arrive at my place at 2 pm. I told him if you change his appointment without my permission, I will cancel him and will hire another assembler. He told me that he was a professional and that he did not like the way of my speaking. It is unbelievable. Of course he did not come to my apartment at 2pm, and I waited for him until 4pm and canceled him. I also told him if he could not come on Sat or he did not want to assemble my furniture, it is OK with me, because I can hire another assembler, but he repeated he was a professional and he could do and he could come. I totally do not understand how he could keep doing his job because he never keep his appointment.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to get into this line of work because all of my life, I have been moving and delivering furniture. I was always taking furniture apart and loading it into the moving trucks and once I get to the customers house, I would have to assemble the furniture back. Sometimes, I would get some bad pieces to take apart that would not go back and I would have to pull magic out the hat to fix the problem so that's how I knew I would be doing this kind of work.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would tell them that they are getting the best service at a great rate. I also take same day appointments. No wait time unless customer wants it booked for a later date. Prices are quoted and never changed.
