The previous repair person from a different company said replacing the garage door is the only solution to my problem and any repair person would say the same. It would have costed me more than 2 grand. But the repair person from solidrise first tried their best to set it right, and as it still wasn’t perfectly repaired, they made an alternate fix to the door, and got it working again, and it’s back working without costing more than $250!

I had a garage door become stuck at one of my rental properties because a lift cable had come off the drum. The owner quickly identified the root cause, clearly explained the problem, the repair options, and why it happened.
The owner and his team did a very thorough job. Rather than applying a quick fix just to get the door moving again, they inspected the entire door system, corrected the cable, and checked the drums, spring balance, rollers, tracks, and opener. They spent considerable time testing the door. When it still didn’t operate as smoothly as they expected, they continued troubleshooting until they identified and fixed the underlying issue. I especially appreciated that they focused on a long-term solution instead of a temporary patch that would likely lead to the same problem a few years later. The door now operates smoothly. Throughout the repair, they patiently answered all of my questions. I was genuinely impressed by their commitment to quality.
Another thing that stood out was their honesty. They didn’t try to upsell additional work. Instead, they pointed out which items were still in good condition and could wait a few more years. That gave me confidence they were recommending only what was truly necessary.
While I didn’t get competing quotes for this repair, the pricing seemed very reasonable based on my experience hiring contractors for other rental properties. They also took care of a few small items at no additional charge. As a small company, the owner clearly takes pride in the quality of the work and the company’s reputation. I was impressed by the team’s professionalism, technical expertise, thoroughness, and problem-solving skills. I would definitely hire them again.
