Hi, I’m Mike Sankin, founder of MS Construction and Services. I previously operated a construction business in Russia and hold an engineering degree. We are a craftsman-led custom deck specialist focused on new decks, complete replacements, partial repairs, exterior stairs and railing systems in composite, redwood, hardwood, selected exterior bamboo systems and pressure-treated wood when appropriate. They did a great job. Power washed brick and wood deck. MOve and replaced all furniture. Replaced wood broken or damaged pieces. Repair bannisters. Sealed deck. Looks like new!

Mikhail was very detailed and meticulous and did a beautiful job on my deck. He went beyond the job request and power washed the furniture on the deck and patio. I'm not sure I like the new color of the deck but that's on me--I chose it.

MS Construction and Services delivered an exceptional job on our hardwood deck and pergola complete rebuild! Their impeccable workmanship, without any cutting corners, resulted in absolutely beautiful results. Everything was done exactly as promised. The CEO, Mike S., was incredibly patient, polite, and attentive to every detail. He promptly answered our numerous questions and helped us refine our final design. His quote was also very competitive. The entire project, including demolition, commenced on time and was completed in just under three weeks. A special shoutout to their talented builder, Ramil. We had been struggling with remodeling for the past two years, and it must be some extraordinary luck to have a person like Ramil work on our project. Ramil is a rare gem of a contractor; his work ethic is incredible, and he was able to resolve complex technical issues in record time.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I try to understand what the customer wants. After that, I propose the optimal solution and technology and say the cost and terms of work. If the customer is satisfied with this, we put the work in the work schedule.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an engineering degree with honors. I even studied in graduate school, but instead of defending my PhD thesis, I went into business.
