I went to school for my art and was taught by amazing instructors who have been makeup artists in the industry for decades. I've kept myself educated and learned from many artists picking up techniques and knowledge that other artists may not have. I offer airbrush makeup which is a long lasting, lightweight, non-comedogenic, and flawless foundation.
I can tell by looking at a person what color tones, eye look, and lip color will look great for that specific persons facial features to enhance their beauty, not mask it. I give a full experience when applying makeup and want my clients to be relaxed, happy, and to enjoy their makeup application. I diffuse essential oils while applying makeup for a calming or energizing mood lifter.
Sanitation is something I focus on highly regarding my makeup kit & brushes. I'm continuously trying new makeup products to ensure I have the best quality products in my kit. I also stay up to date on new and upcoming trends in beauty & fashion industry to provide my clients with makeup looks that are current.
What I love most about my job, is all the different faces I get to apply makeup to. Everyone has different face shapes, eye shapes, skin tones, and imperfections. I'm able to correct and cover imperfections and enhance their beauty which makes my clients feel beautiful, confident, and special. That makes me feel great!
When I'm applying makeup to clients it's actually therapeutic for me and I get into my art. I connect with my clients while they are in my chair and learn so much about them. I often find that myself and my clients have more in common then just the love for makeup. I take my job very seriously and I'm always professional but I do like to have while applying makeup!
Every day is different and although I do have my regular makeup clients that I love to see, I look forward to every new client I meet and job opportunity.
