LOVED working with Team Bridal Beauty! Christine was very responsive from my initial inquiry and throughout the whole process. I booked her for my bridal party for my wedding. We had Christine for our hair and Aline for our makeup. My girls looked beautiful and their hair/makeup looked perfect all day. I would highly recommend Team Bridal Beauty for any event that you want to look your best, especially your wedding day.

Christine reached out to me on Thumbtack to be the hair and makeup stylist for my wedding on May 20, 2017. She included this message to me in her proposal: “I will also include a complimentary consultation, facial for you (the bride), wedding gift for bride and groom, touch-ups for bride until the start of the reception, up to 2 hairstyles on your wedding day.” She was very responsive and had great pictures. She was very understanding and very nice when I was trying to decide who to use for my big day.
After much deliberation, I booked Christine. She used her friend Kristina, who did my makeup, to help out because I had such a large bridal party. I had them do a hair and makeup trial at my house a couple of months prior to the wedding. Although my hair did not stay curled for long, I booked them because they were early to the appointment, were very friendly, I really liked the way that Kristina did my makeup, and Christine stated that she would stay with me until the reception for touchups, as needed (which was very important to me).
A month before my wedding, on the day of my bachelorette party, Christine informed me that she and Kristina would have to leave my wedding day early to attend a conference two hours away. She was going to have to come very early to get our hair and makeup done and then have an assistant available for 5 hours before the wedding to do touch-ups. I did not feel like it was a good idea to have our hair done so early as it would not hold all day. After much communication, it was decided that they would stay with me on my wedding day and forgo the conference, which I really appreciated. It was a bit stressful, but everything worked out. She again assured me that she would stay until the reception, as I explained that she had promised that in her original proposal.
On the day of the wedding, they were ready to go (slightly behind schedule, but not a huge deal). My hair still did not stay curled, but that was not anything on their part. It did require extra curling throughout the day though. The bridal party hair that Christine did looked nice, and Kristina did an amazing job with all of the hair she did and with my makeup. They left for a lunch break while we did first look photos and then came back for touchups. One of my bridesmaids had started to curl my hair before they returned as it needed constant re-curling to hold. Christine came in and finished the job and it looked great. When asked again if they would stay until the reception to help with touchups and to take my veil out, Christine decided that they were not able to stay and showed one of my bridesmaids how to remove the veil. Kristina was also able to put together a small kit for lip touchups. They ended up leaving about 30 minutes or so before the ceremony.
Would I hire Christine again? I can’t say that I would for sure, as I almost had to reschedule with another hairstylist about a month before my wedding. Kristina was awesome, and I would definitely recommend her. Christine promised things (a complimentary consultation, facial for you (the bride), wedding gift for bride and groom, touch-ups for bride until the start of the reception, up to 2 hairstyles on your wedding day) and did not follow through with any of them, so that is why my recommendation for Christine is questionable at this point. I did not ask for two hairstyles, because she said that one hair style would have to be for pictures and then a different hairstyle could be done for the ceremony. I possibly would have tried a different one for the reception, but that was not an option, and it turned out okay. The consultation, facial, wedding gift, and touch-ups until the reception did not happen, unfortunately. The mix-up on the day of my bachelorette party was also a bit of a let-down. However, the prices for the bridal party were great and they were both super nice. I appreciated the distance they drove and the work that they did. I just wish that things had been followed through on as promised.

Christine and her assistant did a great job on 13 women of different ages, with varying hair length, thickness and style requirements, They remained calm and focused while working on a tight schedule that also changed several times at the last minutes. Each hair style was different and well suited to the specific person. They made us all look and feel fabulous!
