Connection Math offers private and semi-private (2-1) lessons where students have access to not only their tutor but a variety of resources (textbooks, problem generators, calculators) and our center director. My 14-year-old was very reluctant to see a tutor after trying a couple in the past who just didn’t resonate with him. Well, that has now changed since we found Wesley at Connection Math. I sat in the corner working on my laptop but overheard the lesson and could hear how kind and patient Wesley was with Rocky. When we left I asked Rocky we he thought (he's a tough critic) and said he really liked him and would be willing to see him again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Bookings are generally done by buying lessons packs (5 or 10 packs). 5 1hr lesson packs cost a total of $250 or $50 per lesson. 10 1hr lesson packs cost $450 or $45 per lesson.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We try and identify the particular problems that a student is facing and then work on building a learning process for them. We have 3 problem solving approaches that we encourage student to incorporate into their learning process: Examples, Fundamentals, and Questions (see our website for me details or send us a message).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our center director has a Masters in Math from Claremont Graduate School and a Bachelors in Math and Finance from Santa Clara University. Most tutors are current college students or recent college graduates while others holding advanced degrees.
