I've spent seven years in education and have a background in neuroscience. I started Roots of Reason because I believe great learning starts with curiosity - when students are genuinely interested, the brain does the rest. I build custom lessons that spark curiosity and promote joy in learning and motivation to succeed.
I offer 1-on-1 and small group services, K-12 academics, and small group beginner guitar lessons.

Roots of Reason did an outstanding job on an LMS pipeline data analytics and engineering project for Triboro Builders, our custom home building and addition company here in NH. We needed help analyzing supply chain and contractor onboarding data for a large project, and he built out both the back end and front end to make it work.
What stood out most was how thorough he was. He asked for every little detail upfront so the end result actually matched what we needed, not just a generic solution. He's highly technical and found ways to analyze our data that I honestly hadn't even considered, which gave us insights we wouldn't have gotten otherwise. He was also incredibly responsive throughout the project and patient when explaining the more technical pieces to someone outside the software world.
On top of all that, his pricing was very reasonable compared to other developers we looked at. Highly recommend him for any data analytics or engineering work. We'll definitely be using him again.
