FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My car is my second office. I travel to meet clients. Therefore, I must charge a travel fee to recover my travel expenses. My expenses are also affected by insurance costs for the car, business, and liability. I am also bonded to meet state requirements. The Notary fees for signings are determined by California state law. For taxes, I charge according to the complexity of the return, the forms, and other factors. I do have a link to an excellent online tax preparation software. If your tax situation is very simple, that might be the least expensive way to go. To obtain an apostille, my fees depend on the Country of Destination, type of authentication needed, and the number of steps needed to complete the authentication. The process can take as little as one or two days, or it might take a number of weeks. Since I am not a lawyer, I cannot provide legal advice.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I notarize signatures on documents. I administer oaths regarding contents of papers. I verify identities of signers and oath takers. I prepare Federal and State income taxes. I use eFiling for those who qualify. I get signatures authenticated on documents to be used in foreign countries (apostille).
