- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to connect via phone or by email. First step, is to set up a face to face meeting to meet the potential client and their dog. This is a great way for all to get acquainted and ensure the pet is familiar once I begin walking / pet sitting them. Walk duration may be discussed at initial meeting.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After many years being relied upon to dog sit for friends and family, I thought this could be an interesting career path.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My current clients are: neighbors or clients who work extended hours and need their dog walked during the day. Additionally, some of my clients are elderly and can no longer walk their dogs.
