I hired Pastor John to be the minister for a wedding I was coordinating. He did an excellent job! He was very easy to work with and had a heartwarming ceremony for the couple. He made the ceremony personalized which was more meaningful to the couple. Thank you Rev. John!!
Like many of you reading this review, my wife and I had no idea what to expect when we first reached out to Joe Stasi. We had a couple family members suggest more traditional routes, such as a priest, minister, or ordained family friend... however, my wife and I knew that our event called for a true professional who could capture the moment, read the crowd, adjust to variables, and create a magical atmosphere that our guests would never forget. Joe went above and beyond the call of duty for us - and having a seasoned vet, like Joe, to guide us through the ceremony portion of our wedding was really an invaluable service that took an enormous weight off our shoulders. From our first meeting, he made every detail simple and easy. He outlined the ceremony clearly, he constructed a wonderful game plan for us, he provided fantastic advice to help us get started on our vows, and he made himself available for questions or clarity any time we needed any answers. I could not recommend Joe any more highly. For any prospective couple looking to knock out a potentially cumbersome task with the highest quality of results, please consider reaching out to Joe Stasi. My wife and I are extremely happy we did.
Minister Hayne Bendick was kind enough to take us on a moments notice to perform our wedding ceremony. Not only did she perform the service for us, but she also took photos for us as well. She was such a sweet lady. She made us feel very comfortable and we were delighted to have her be a part of our special day. I strongly recommend her services. You'll be glad you chose her! -Annie and Saul Wonderlich
You married Meg and I on April 2, 2011. We are happily married and living in Rancho Cordova near Sacramento. I am now an ordained minister myself and have been officiating ceremonies. I use you as a model. You are the best. Should the request for a minister in the Bay Area ever come up, I will surely recommend you! Thank you and know you are in our hearts forever. Meg and Gary Seuberth
The wedding was great. The ceremony conducted by Rev. Robert Mize went well, It was short but sweet and nice. And i will never forget my wedding because our officiating minister is from the united states of america so my wedding is literally a English wedding. hehe All in all it was a great wedding conducted by Pastor Robert Mize. the food is great by the way.
I consider Tim to be an answer to prayer in finding a minister to marry my daughter. Very outgoing and personable, he was a great match for young the wedding party. The service was beautiful and memorable.
An out of body experience is an understatement. Trent Thornley was incredible. A week before our wedding the officiant who was scheduled to marry us had a family emergence, so we were in a pretty stressful bind. Trent was referred to us from a dear friend who works with Trent. Within 30 minutes Trent had agreed to skype with us and we connected with him as a person instantly. He was so accommodating and luckily he was available for the very next weekend. Not only did he agree to be our officiant, so last minute, but he was able to travel to our wedding in Oregon from San Francisco (of course we bought his flight and hotel!). We sent him our ideas for the ceremony i.e. vows, readings, prayer, etc. and before the wedding he sat with each of us separately and then together to make sure we were all on the same page - he was our spiritual guide and professional facilitator. He had this wonderful ability to connect with us, make us feel supported and also ease our nervous and stressful energy. And I even asked him, "am I missing anything in my vows that might get me into trouble" and to that he assured me I covered all my bases and helped me laugh that off. :) Once we walked down the aisle and joined hands at the alter, the energy was electric and Trent went to work. He opened with a wonderful ice breaker and got the attendees, engaged, present and participating. He lead our ceremony like a magician. I mean, he may as well have had on a wizard hat (which would have totally worked because we are a geeky fantasy and sci-fi couple - and even played the Star Wars theme song during our procession)!! Which Trent totally supported. We also asked Trent to follow our general guidelines but to bring in his own knowledge, passion and spiritual experiences in Catholicism and Buddhism, which he did beautifully. After the ceremony, we insisted Trent stay and join the party because he was an instant friend and we couldn't bare to let his beautiful energy leave the party - and he did! If you are looking for a compassionate, open-minded, uplifting, intelligent, commanding, respectful, loving minister/reverend/officiant/wizard person to marry you, then I highly recommend Trent Thornley!
Neil didn't give what he promised, Neil Whitelaw gave double what he said to our Marriage. He certainly gave us a spiritual boost to our Wedding without getting holier-than-thou and a bunch of Bible quotes read without feeling like so many ceremonies we've seen the last number of years. We feel that we we truly linked in spirit by Neil without getting immersed in dogmatic Religion. We know, as he said during the service, that he pointed us in the right direction but it is up to us how we fly! It feels like we really are flying in the right way. He felt like an old family friend and not a stranger. Neil was sure to include the elements that the two of us wanted but we felt so at ease with him and respected his obvious wisdom that it was pretty easy to let him run the show. He did everything we wanted to have done and them some. He was on time , we liked him very much, and we will want Neil to bless our children when they come along, too. We are surprised that some woman hasn't snagged him by ow.
Ryan did an amazing job as our officiant. He met with us and we gave him an idea of what we envisioned, and he filled in all the details and came up with a perfect ceremony for us. We knew we didn't want a traditional boilerplate ceremony, we wanted something that was "us" and would be special and memorable, and Ryan got this perfectly. He did a lot of research to find the right readings/poems/etc and really worked with us to find exactly the right things to say. He didn't just pick some sayings from a book of common ceremonies, it was truly a custom, personal ceremony, and we couldn't have dreamt of anything better. His style is very Santa Cruz, laid back and comfortable, but still very respectful and special. He's also not an internet certified "minister" and is the real deal with the backing of a real church (but is absolutely not preachy, judgemental, or a traditional church figure either.) We can't thank Ryan enough for giving us the ceremony of our dreams!
She's a good officiant
