Wedding and Event Videography
So amazing! Ruben was our videographer at our wedding this past weekend and i can’t express how grateful i am to have found him! He was incredibly responsive and was eager and willing to answer any questions that i had. We decided on a videographer last minute and after researching multiple companies that were available on our date, i was confident that he was the right choice just by our conversation on the phone. I can’t wait to see our highlight video that he’s putting together! I know we are gonna love it!Jun 26, 2018Verified

Ruben Contreras with his team did an amazing Job on all photos and video. I found Sybex Booths on Thumbtack and I could not have picked a brilliant photograpgher and videographer.Aug 16, 2016Verified
Ruben was extremely responsive and a delight to have as our videographer at our wedding. His kind, courteous, mild-mannered, pleasant attitude was perfect for our big day. He captured every moment and his camera angles, lighting, and creativity were amazing. The special highlight reel was simply awesome and brought back all the same lovely emotions from our day. I'd highly recommend him and would most definitely hire him again. He arrived early and graciously stayed later than requested. He is perfect for any occasion!May 24, 2017Verified
Best photographer and videographer by far!!! They were joyful of what they do and really nice, sweet and very patient with us. Thank you bothSep 2, 2016Verified
This was by the far the worst experience we had for our wedding and probably with any vendor in general. The moment that our wedding was over, Ruben was very uncommunicative, unprofessional and has ignored our emails unless you send 3-4 emails before he replies. He also never answers his phone, even with voice mails. In the contract, we agreed to a 45-60 min video and a 5 min highlight reel. It took Ruben 9 months!!!! yes 9 months to send the edited videos. To our dismay, we only ended up with badly cut, abruptly finished, haphazardly edited and rushed 1.5 min video for the highlight reel and a short 30 min video for the main event. The video didn't even include our dance!! Only a brief snapshots of it in the beginning. Out of a full 5+ min routine, we got literally 5 seconds or less. It was a shame that the only record we now have of it are the videos the guests took with their phones and thank God they did. Knowing how unreliable, untrustworthy and unprofessional Ruben is, we would have never entrusted him to shoot our wedding Video. We are now considering our legal options since he refused to rectify this situation and deliver what he promised to deliver and committed to in the contract (or even deliver half of what he promised). Such a terrible and unfortunate experience. Especially when it happens with the Videographer of your one and only wedding day.Jun 27, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We offer the best prices in the bay area and we go above and beyond to give extra services. Our work is more important than price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When I get a new client I go over their needs and style preferences and budget. Next I have a shot list I usually use and I go over it with the client to make sure it works for them, or to see if they would like to add any additional shots. I also usually like to visit the venue or site that they will have me shooting at. I also like to coordinate with any other vendors the client may be using. I also make sure to stay in contact with clients on the days leading up to the event to make sure they do not have any additional questions or requests prior to their event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I attended Gnomon School of Visual Effects in North Hollywood.
