I woke up on a Saturday morning and went into my garage to find that there was a sound of water dripping that didn’t feel right since it hadn’t rained in a while. I found that it was our water heater that was leaking from all over.
Thankfully, Oscar from Elite Rooter reached out and was able to come and take a look at it later the same day despite it being a weekend. They found that a lot of the piping inside was corroded and while they offered to do a patch fix for $200-300, they suggested that a longer term fix would be a replacement.
Thankfully, Home Depot had a similar model in stock that could plug into our existing plumbing. So, while Oscar uninstalled our broken unit, I went and fetched the new one. Then Oscar proceeded to install the new unit for us and was done within an hour.
All in all, I paid $1,375 to Oscar for his labour and parts, and another $1,400 for the new Rheem water heater. Hopefully, this will last us a long time!
I’m super grateful that Oscar was able to come out and install the new water heater for us on the same day, since it was a weekend and hot water is so essential, especially in the winter!

Reuben and his team from Elite Rooter were fantastic. They quickly assessed not only the problem that I called about, but several others as I asked them to inspect my drainage while they were here. In a matter of days, they re-piped my sewer line, fixed the slow running kitchen fitting and stopped leaking. While it was a bigger job than I anticipated when I first called them, they were thorough in explaining everything took pictures to show me what was happening and were professional punctual and did great quality work. I highly recommend them.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Elite Rooter charges by the job not the hour so our clients know the price before we start and there are no surprises afterwards. Please ask about coupons that we often have for our drain cleaning services. We always offer 15% discounts for our seniors, military and educators. Coupons/discounts cannot be combined.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We schedule same day appointments as needed or we can schedule at a time and date that works best for you. Once scheduled you will get a call from our technician when they are on their way to your home/business. Upon arrival the technician will diagnose the plumbing problem, communicate with you possible solutions and then if approved by you, the technician will start the work. We do not charge any trip fees and other hidden costs. All estimates are complimentary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Elite Rooter is a state licensed, full service, plumbing company. This means that we have to maintain industry standards to stay licensed. All of our technicians are experienced plumbers, with years of in the field knowledge and are certified. We believe in constant education and training. We have training sessions at our office 3 times a week where we discuss and train on all aspects of plumbing so we can provide a truly Elite experience to our clients.
