We loved having Shea perform at our Coffee House! She is a top level talent as a singer and performer. Hire her, you will not be disappointed!
Tucker provided a great environment of fun classic rock music for my daughter's graduation party. The kids and adults enjoyed listening and dancing to the music. Would definitely hire him again.
Mark has been our kids (aged 11 and 9) piano teacher for a couple years. He is very professional and takes the time to adjust his teachings so that both kids can understand it at their individual levels. Mark is very patient with the kids. He is also very flexible with his schedule, accommodating the times when we need to reschedule the kids' lesson. It has been very convenient to have Mark come to the house to give the kids their lessons. Mark strikes a balance between teaching piano in a way that the kids can understand it, but also instilling the fundamentals of reading music and understanding the musicality of the songs they are learning. It is evident that Mark is very knowledge and has a passion for the piano; that comes through in his teaching.
Thank you so much for making my birthday party a fabulous night to remember. You were awesome and everyone raved at what an awesome band I had found! I will definitely hire you again!!!! Living Cover Band Rocks!
Chris is a wonderful guitar/music teacher and has inspired my daughter's beginning guitar playing. She really looks forward to each lesson and they share a mutual love of music.
Summer performed for a small group of us and we were all very impressed and very happy with how it all went. I had asked her to blend in some 90's bands into her repertoire (my wife's favorite music!) and the choices were fantastic. She arrived early, played far longer than we had originally allowed time for (which was great) and was a very pleasant and easy person to get along with and communicate with. I'd hire her again in a heart beat.
I am a retired high school teacher and have decided to take up the piano. I had my first lesson with Sharon. She is an excellent teacher! She is very patient and very enthusiastic! Both of which I am very grateful for, as I am a slow learner! Needless to say, she is extremely knowledgable about music, piano and theory. I would very highly recommend her for all levels of piano study for either the adult or child learner! I look forward to many more lessons with her!
I have been taking guitar lessons from Kimberly via Skype for about six years. I really like her teaching style which is systematic and focused. She tailors her lessons to my goals and time. Her teaching method is to help you gain insight and skill through patient practice of gradually changing exercises. She doesn't snow you with theory, but presents it to you in digestible amounts just when it will make sense. She welcomes questions and I always learn from our discussions. She has led me to learn techniques on the guitar that I was absolutely sure I could never learn. For something to seem impossible at the start, to seem possible a week later and to be routine a month later is amazingly uplifting. Kimberly's background was first a life of teaching herself and playing gigs with all kinds of bands in all kinds of places. She has also deepened and strengthened her knowledge by gaining academic degrees in guitar and jazz and also by studying under masters. This gives her an incredibly deep understanding of learning and teaching music, an immense skill in playing guitar, and an appreciation for the challenges of playing with other people. I especially love her continued enthusiasm for guitar and that she really enjoys teaching. I have found in Kimberly the best of teachers and highly recommend her without reservation.
Mr. Graf was my very first music teacher. Amazing man. He encouraged me to explore multiple instruments, and made learning to play, read, and make music exciting and fun. I will never forget his passion, energy, and his awesome hair
I have the distinct pleasure of working with Amanda in a church setting as her music director at St. Clement's church in San Clemente. Amanda contributes to our program by both singing in the choir and offering vocal solos during services. She always arrives prepared and I greatly appreciate her musicality and sensitivity to the music. She's continually happy and offers constructive suggestions that ultimately add much to the music. She's a wonderful musician and I highly recommend her as a singer. I also believe that her skills will wonderfully transfer to teaching the art of singing to her students.
My son started formal drum lessons with Steve two and a half years ago. Steve set the bar on professionalism, flexibility, communication, and has the patience to teach music to younger kids. My son went from a kid banging on a toy drum, to a musician that could play drum set rhythms in an elementary school jazz band. We've had other instructors since Steve left the Los Alamitos area but none of them compared to his high level of attributes listed earlier.
I was so lucky to have found Damien to teach my young son to play the guitar! My son had never played before, but Damien was able to have him playing real music in a few short weeks. Damien has an amazing ear for music and has been teaching my son to play all of his favorite video game tunes. Also, my son looks forward to sharing the antics of his weekly routine with his ultra cool rock star guitar teacher, and Damien is always patient enough to listen ;-)
Molly was amazing! She was professional from start to finish! She is amazing! We were lucky to have found her on such short notice and not only was she our officiant, but she sang our first dance as husband and wife. She did a beautiful version of "Sabes" by Reik. It left everyone at the wedding surprised. Not too many people have someone sing while the couple dances. But it wasn't just that, she gave us a ceremony that everyone was talking about. Thank you Molly for your great service. Definitely recommended.
Ainur is one of the best violinists I had ever worked with! She is a top professional musician and is also very diplomatic and caring.
Jason is awesome. It started out with my daughter taking lessons from him, now it's both of us. First of all, my daughter Lauren is 5 years old. 5. Literally just started Kindergarten. She can't read - but she can do a power chord. That's all due to Jason's help. It takes serious patience to teach a five year old how to play guitar. Not just patience... but Jason is a pleasure to have in our home. He's great with my daughter. And... great at teaching an adult too. I've only been playing guitar for a few months, but people think I've been at it a while.
