Brooksley was the perfect touch to my proposal. Leading up to the proposal she asked me if there’s any songs I prefer her to play and if not she sent me a list of songs. I told her the song I would want played when we walked up (which is a hard ask considering she didn’t have any sheet music for it) AND SHE PLAYED IT!! She learned it herself and played it. Blew me away. She’s a wonderful violinist and is so so good at what she does. I truly appreciate you for making our night. Thank you ❤️

Brooksley maintained communication throughout the process from inquiry to the end of our event. She was early for set up, well prepared, had a vast music selection, and was amazing. She has a great personality and went with the modifications made as the event went along. It was truly a highlight to our vow renewal ceremony and dinner. She shared lovely words with our family prior to leaving the event. Thank you so much.

Brooksley is a phenomenal violinist! I don’t think I can use any words that would do any justice to describe the amazing talent that she is. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. Aside from her exquisite musical abilities, her personality was the icing on the cake. I strongly recommend booking her for any event!

Brooksley did absolutely amazing at our wedding! We honestly couldn't be any happier! It was last minute since our cellist canceled a week before the wedding. We were scrambling to find a stringed instrument. When we reached out to Brooksley, she responded quickly and was so easy to work with. She was very attentive to all of our needs and requests. She partnered with our pianist and learned the music in 1 week. I didn't have to do much of anything besides provide the song list, location and time. It was such a stress free process. Finally, when we met her she was beyond sweet, professional, and such a kind person. I would 11/10 hire her again or recommend her to anyone in search of a violinist. Thank you again Brooksley!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My quote depends on your event/wedding location, date, and day of the week! The following are the estimated price ranges: 1 hour - $260 to $520 2 hours - $520 to $720 3 hours - $730 to $930 4 hours - $940 to $1,140 5 hours - $1,150 to $1,350 My Bose speaker and violin mic to amplify my violin are included in all my pricing!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

In my initial response with my quote, I always include the style of songs I play, my audio/video samples, and my complete song lists so the client has all my information up front! Also, I request a deposit to secure the date, and the client can pay the deposit via Venmo or Zelle! I am happy to provide a contract as well!

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I have played in many restaurants and Churches over the years, so I am very familiar with their requirements and restrictions! CHURCHES: Due to COVID, most Churches today do not allow outside violinists to play for weddings, so please contact your Church first for approval! For Catholic weddings, most Churches require sacred classical music (i.e. Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring, Ave Maria, Hymns). Thus, if your Church approves an outside violinist and you would like music other than sacred classical, please contact your Church music director or Priest first for approval! RESTAURANTS: Most restaurants do not allow outside violinists to serenade a table in the dining room (i.e. for proposals, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, etc.) due to the other diners, due to the set music playlist playing through the speakers, and/or due to their own live entertainment. Thus, please contact the General Manager first for approval! If you have booked a fully private room in the restaurant, please still contact the General Manager first for approval! There is usually more flexibility with the fully private rooms, but I have encountered a few restaurants that still do not allow it!
