Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently restored the City of Burlingame's Voice Mail system that was completely set up wrong by a vendor with little experience with this product. The other vendor told the City their old features can't be restored.
Low and behold I ran a first time setup, re-configured the system and the City is very satisfied. It took some tweeking but complaints have quieted down.
Please do not ever say It can't be done.
There always is some type of solution even if requires something new or a support call away.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think the best advice I can give would be to verify a valid CA. State contractors license, liability insurance and customer references. This will help protect you from sub-standard services and materials. Checking customer references will define a companies past service experiences and product satisfaction.
