Introduction: My love, devotion, and reliability to my clients and their humans is what sets me apart from the rest. My fees are exceptionally reasonable for the experience and training I bring to the table and animals feel safe and comfortable with me right away.
I'm licensed, insured, and I hold certifications in animal psychology, basic dog training, animal physical therapy, pet nutrition, pet first aid/CPR, and I'm a member of P.U.P.S. (Professional United Pet Sitters). I have experience working with veterinarians, as well as with farm animals and exotics.
I specialize in in-home dog/cat boarding with, or without, kennels (depending on the furbaby's needs), and dog walking in, and around, the Emerald Highlands community of Escondido. I also offer overnight stays (housesitting) in the client's home for animals that would be more comfortable in their own home. I will do doggy day-care in certain instances. I am now able to board cats, but only one family at a time, so be sure to book your dates as soon as you have them. I can board up to three cats from the same family at one time. Fees for cat boarding start at $20 per night. I'm licensed for business in the city of San Marcos under Tails at Home Pet Services, and previously operated under the name Pekapoo Pet Sitting in Ramona (2007-2008).
*Please be sure to choose the correct service you're interested in when requesting a quote. I'm charged a fee depending on the value of the job, and 'overnight stays' cost more than 'boarding'. Please choose the "housesitting" option when looking for an overnight stay quote, or "pet boarding" if you want your furbaby to stay in my home. This is an important distinction in determining my availability, too.
*Please note when booking for my 'housesitting' (overnight stays) services, there is one elderly pug, and two young pugs, who must stay with me in the home. They are very socialized, but can be kept separate from the other animals if need be. I bring all of our own food and basically live in the house leaving only to do errands and other jobs if needed. I collect mail, water plants, and do other basic housesitting work while I'm there.
*Nutrition is listed as a service I provide, and though I hold certifications in both human and animal nutrition, I'm currently not offering nutrition services, but always willing to give advise to clients.
*I have openings for dogs to join our walking pack three days per week for $15-$30 per day, depending on where I have to drive to pick up the dog. It's a very safe, gated community where we walk. I can do private dog walking for $30 per day, preferably in the dog's own community, but not for long-term situations. Walks are generally half-an-hour to forty-five minutes long, depending on the dog's needs, the weather, and the client's preferences.
*Multi-animal and military discounts are available, as well as discounts for long-term boarding that is four weeks or longer.
Thank you for your consideration! I'm eager to love your furbabies as one of my own!
