- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most projects are charged at an hourly rate of $175. A typical kitchen project is 40 hours, and a bathroom at 30 hours. A redesign of a living room, bedroom etc at 30 hours. We do offer a design only flat rate service which includes at least one layout of a space along with dimensions for $3500. Material selection is not included. Lastly, our in home two hour consultation could be the answer to an existing design dilemma, or the kick start to a DIY project. We will walk through your home with you offering all of my suggestions and answering your existing questions. This meeting is followed up by a written summary along with up to 5 linked examples of items we recommend for your home. This service is $850
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After having a chat about the project via phone or email, an in home consultation is typically scheduled. After the consultation I start creating design boards and/or 3D drawings for my clients to see how things will look together and to help make decisions on what pieces to start purchasing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified in Kitchen & Bathroom design. Sustainable design, Space Planning, Architectural Drafting, Lighting Design, Modern Furniture, Color concepts, materials & finishes, and Staging. Proficient in Sketchup, auto CAD, and Chief Architect, design software programs.
