About
My photography style is a bit more documentary. While I love to incorporate some fluff, a few simple props and cutesy outfits from time to time, what I really love to capture are the quiet real life moments between lovers, family and friends. I LOVE to be creative. More accurately, I NEED to be creative. Making beautiful images through photography has always been a huge passion. In addition to that, I am just completely smitten with squishy babies. I worked for years as a nanny and have been fortunate to watch my own niece and nephews from bump to school aged children while caring for and loving them along the way. There is just something so extra special about a new baby. The birth of a child is such a defining moment. And babies are only little for so long. Those first few months at home are such an intimate and beautiful time. I just love the mood and feelings that surround a home during that time.

Kristina was great! She was professional, flexible, and delivered our engagement photos quickly. She was able to work with the windy conditions of the location and delivered beautiful photos! I would recommend her to anyone!

Thank you so much Jenna! You both were so much fun to work with. I loved getting to chat with you about wedding plans and giggling about being blown all around on the top of that peak. Congratulations again, and enjoy all your wedding planning.

Kristina is excellent! We hired her for a newborn in home photo session. Kristina was incredibly patient and very sweet with our little baby (two feeding sessions!), and the photos are absolutely beautiful. Kristina is super passionate about photography and you will love her work.

Kristina took new born photos for our baby and it was absolutely amazing. We printed several photos and hang on the wall. We got so many compliments from our guests. The photos were beyond our expectation. Thanks again for documenting our precious moments!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been taking photos as a hobby for a good 18 years and I majored in Photography in college and currently hold an Arts degree with an emphasis on Photography. Additionally, I have previously worked as a Nanny. Taking care of babies and children aged newborn - 9 years old.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I bought a Mickey Mouse camera at a garage sale when I was 9 years old. It took 110 film and I loved carrying it around and taking photos of my family and friends (and sometime my dolls). As I grew older I continued to take photos. A girlfriend of mine and I started experimenting more in depth as teenagers doing long exposures, multiple exposures and cross-processing our film. When I turned 20 my Dad bought be a point and shoot digital camera. It was my first digital camera and I went nuts taking thousands of photos! The freedom from film costs was quite liberating! When I entered college, it just felt like no brainer to enroll in photography courses. It was an eye opening and enthralling area of study! I had a blast in school. I began taking portraits for friends and their families and from that began to set up styled sessions for their babies. I've become so overjoyed with the results of the work and decided to work on it full time!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with 1 day old babies to 2 year old babies, and beyond. I love working with entire families and getting everyone involved in a session to really capture a family dynamic.
