Having studied pre-law in college he wisely strayed from that path to found a multi-million dollar international music merchandising business in his early 20’s in San Francisco. As a result of his extraordinary success working with top international acts from the Grateful Dead to Madonna, the Who to the Rolling Stones, Jonathan saw real estate as his preferred financial vehicle and thus began his spree of buying and selling properties around the Bay Area for personal and investment purposes. It was a by-product of these transactions and the shallow and seemingly uncaring manner in which they were handled by his realtors that prompted Jonathan to challenge the status quo as far as the manner in which real estate was conducted. With that Jonathan became a full-time realtor and the ultimately the Marks Realty Group was born.
