Therapy for the Whole Family

Introduction: Hello! I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 15 years. I thoroughly enjoy my work; I find it rewarding, and I am humbled by what I learn from others. The process of beginning therapy can be a challenge for some people, and I recognize that this may be a step for you. I'd like to share with you that in my work with clients, I see that therapy is an alliance between therapist and client-no matter the age-to support reaching of goals, may they be academic, job, relationships, health, etc. Sometimes, the goal is simply to be happy, and the road there can be so much more easier and rewarding with an ally on your side. I offer in-depth and solution-focus approach grounded in cognitive-behavioral, Mindfulness/Somatic, and attachment principles to overcome anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. While I am curious about helping others experience what is happening for them in the "here-and-now", sometimes connecting dynamics and behaviors to experiences of the past can propel a person make the changes that lead to a more fulfilling life. I thoroughly enjoy supporting individuals access their full potential to create the experience of life they wish for. I see young children to teens and adults, parents, and couples and have extensive experience treating trauma, anxiety disorders including generalized anxiety, phobia, and OCD, depression, and life transitions for families and individuals. I believe that mental health and well-being is a multi-dimensional experience. I work alongside other health practitioners to offer my clients a well-rounded and holistic approach. I am a mother, a partner, and someone who is in continual exploration of what makes us feel joyful and fulfilled. When not practicing psychotherapy, I dance, ride horses, and currently direct an artistic project. I welcome questions and inquiries.
