Hello I’m Steve (or Tex) of Tex’s Round Up. I am passionate about animals. Serving all of Contra Costa and Alameda counties, I bring more than 15 years of experience serving the SF Bay Area, Phoenix, AZ, before bringing Tex's Roundup to the East Bay. Through hard work and a lot of hands-on experience, I have a knack for locating where critters enter and tend to live within your homes and businesses. I use no poison, with all of my work using humane and safe trapping methods. I pride myself on connecting with customers same day whenever possible and strike the right balance between people, property, and wildlife. Had a dead doe on my property- on a Saturday. Impossible to get Animal Control out on a weekend. Used THUMBTACK to find Tex’s Round up (Steve),he answered my call, arrived within 45 minutes- and did a fantastic job removing the dead deer.. Super nice guy! He figured out where the skunk could get in and out of the crawl space, and after we got the skunk out, he closed up the holes so that no animal could get back into the crawl space. If necessary, we would hire him again.

I contacted Steve on a Sunday for pet removal from under my house. He responded immediately and we discussed the details. I also needed a vent cover replaced to keep other critters out. I found a rodent nest in the back of my yard. There’s a tall bush next to the fence and I saw a few rodents jump from the fence into the tree one evening, eventually found the nest. I called so many pest control numbers and even the county. Nobody would help me because they were not in my house. Thankfully Steve responded super quick and showed up the same day to take care of it for me. So grateful!!

Tex’s Round Up (Steve) just came by to help me with a squirrel I thought might be running around in the attic. He was so pleasant to work with and double checked every possible nook and cranny. His diagnosis? That dang thing likes to sit on the roof to eat his acorn and whatnot because there was no way it could get in. Phew! Plus, he gave me some ideas for prevention. Steve is now on speed dial just in case that little jerk really does get inside the attic, but I am satisfied for now he cannot. Thank you Tex’s Round Up!
