Bonjour. I am French, from Paris.I have taught French to children, from PK to 12 th grade , in France and in the Bay area. I have also taught teens and adults, in private settings and group classes. I have a vast array of material and I can adapt to the needs. I believe in action, context , role play , games, and conversation. At any age. But I believe also that in order to progress, all that expression has to be framed by precise grammatical or lexical points. I love grammar! There are many ways to make it fun. There will be homework and short texts that you will write so we can correct it together. I can teach at any level. You can come to my place and I can also come to your place if you live in SF or the Bay area. I love to teach French.To children. To grown ups. I have lived 20 years in California and teaching my language keeps it alive for me. I am always happy when I meet a student who has such liking for French that he/she is ready to make the effort - and it is one - to learn the language. The questions that arise during a class are always interesting.

Both of my children (12 and 10 years old) have been with Marion for over one year for French private tutoring, and they love her!! Marion is a very dedicated educator, and French teacher, my children and I love/enjoy her teaching methods and approaches, which incorporate games, songs, movies and daily interaction objects, people that my children could relate to their day-to-day life. She is firm and extremely friendly, which is an excellent teacher would be.

My daughter and I are both taking lessons. We are at different levels but she is just what both of us need. My daughter has really connected with her. I am always nervous speaking with people but I feel very comfortable with Mme Marion! She’s easy to talk to and I like the way she offers different ways to say things.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching French to non-French speakers for 30 years, in France and in America. I have a Masters degree in French as a Foreign Language, I have worked at the French Alliance in Paris , at a bilingual school at in San Francisco and I teach French to adults in the evening.
