We’ve been part of a swim academy for the past two years, but for the last year, my child showed little to no progress, stuck at the same level despite consistent attendance. Even as a non-swimmer myself, I could clearly see that my child wasn’t kicking properly. I raised this concern multiple times with the academy, but unfortunately, it was never addressed seriously. That’s when I turned to Thumbstack, where I’ve had great experiences with freelancers in the past. I found Fahmi in December 2024. At that time, my child was still enrolled at the academy for the season, and we don’t have access to a pool in our community. But Fahmi worked with me to ensure that the lack of a pool wouldn’t become a roadblock to starting proper swim classes. I initially signed up for 20 sessions with him. By the 6th class, I was already seeing significant improvement and immediately signed up for another 20. Fahmi brings incredible energy to every session and connects with my 6-year-old in a way that makes learning fun and effective. This personal connection and enthusiasm were completely missing in the swim academy environment. As a sportsperson myself, I understand the importance of precision and progress in training. That’s exactly why I’ve continued with Fahmi, his approach is clearly driven by passion, not just business. I’m also planning to start lessons with him for my other child soon, just waiting for the right time. Highly recommend Fahmi to any parent looking for a dedicated, passionate, and effective swim instructor!

We’ve been incredibly happy with Fahmi, who has been teaching swimming to both of our kids. From the very first lesson, he made them feel comfortable and confident in the water. He’s patient, friendly, and has a natural way of connecting with children—both of our kids absolutely love him and look forward to every class! Fahmi is always punctual, professional, and comes prepared with a structured lesson plan while still making the sessions fun and engaging. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a huge improvement in the kids’ comfort level and swimming skills. They’ve gone from being hesitant in the water to confidently swimming and having fun. What we appreciate most is how Fahmi balances discipline with encouragement. He’s firm when needed but always kind and motivating. His positive energy really sets the tone for the entire session. Ive had 2 sessions so far. Ive been making progress and I feel more comfortable in the water. He takes his time showing me practice drills and techniques. He's attentive and patient with me. So far I have enjoyed my session with him.
