Albino and his team did excellent work for a reasonable price. We especially appreciated that they could do repair work (fixing windows, refinishing a butcher block counter) as well as paint -- and all of it was high quality.

I hired Jasper from My Apartment Is Better Than Yours. I think they did a terrific job at a very reasonable price. I'm really pleased that I decided to go with them. I had a number of unusual carpentry tasks to complete when I moved to my new place. The windows were old and the wood was irregular and moldy, so the wood around the antique glass panels needed to be replaced. I was told those windows hadn't been opened in 40 years, but now they work perfectly and you'd never know the wood wasn't original. Also, several doorways lacked doors when I moved in, and were unusual rounded shapes cut into the stucco without doorframes. Jasper was able to make me custom doors with antique iron-wrought handles, and they look awesome. I also needed threshholds worked on, cabinets put up, new benches made for my roof deck, a custom projector and screen put in, antique chandeliers installed, a lock repaired... and I'm probably forgetting one or two things. They are in the process of putting the finishing touches on my humidor (they had to build me custom legs for it), and it's going to look spectacular. Anyway, they knocked it all out of the park. They were prompt and clean and didn't cause much of a disturbance despite all the work they were doing. They'll be my go-to for anything I need done in the future. I definitely recommend them.

Highly recommend Conn for any custom carpentry project. He was helpful and patient during the planning phase, assisted with design considerations using his vast experience and demonstrated professionalism as we working on the budgeting of the project. Conn works extremely accurate and clean. We're very happy with the outcome and we'll use him again in the future.

We've been working with Garrett and S.O.T.A. Construction since February 2016 in opening our restaurant called 'Aina in San Francisco and we couldn't be happier. He came in and gave us a quote on some minor work needed and had some cool ideas. From there he ended up taking on more than we had planned after seeing his work. The work he does is fast and clean, and he always has a new idea or solution before a problem even occurs. He's kept us incredibly on budget coming up with solutions within our spend, as well he's been VERY up front about any cost and keeping any additional work cost transparent. There were no surprises in any payments, he worked hard, and had amazing communication with us. He also did a great job doing custom woodwork for us for our bathroom, tables, a brand new wine rack, outfitting a whole wooden bar, etc etc. He was also knowledgable about restaurant quotes, permits required etc which really helped us throughout the process on an important commercial job. Very responsive and all round great guy. Overall Garrett and S.O.T.A. Construction went above and beyond on what we had asked for. Highly recommended.

We ended up hiring Oswaldo for our two smaller handyman projects. He was excellent at communicating with us in a timely manner, he completed the variety of handyman tasks we needed to have done. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time, worked cleanly, knowledgeably and efficiently. We anticipate using him for the woodworking job and he is currently working on a bid for us. We couldn’t have been happier with his work and we plan to call him for future needs.

Yimi Cardona did an excellent job installing our fence. He was punctual, worked quickly and - most important of all - did an outstanding job! He was very cost-effective and right on budget. I highly recommend Yimi for woodwork inside and outside the house.

I had Phil come in and redo work that another painter done. Phil had to redo the walls and woodwork , he was helpful in explaining what do to be done and why , turned up on time and quick doing the work , I would recommend him to my family and friends any time
