Hello, My name is Ka Laam. Dance is my greatest passion and it’s what I’ve been doing all my life. I specialize teaching in Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Salsa, Bachata, Jazz, Heels, partner dancing and K-pop. I also offer stretch and strengthening as well as Tik Tok videos dances:) I have eared different Royal Academy of Dance Ballet certifications in Hong Kong and I came to LA at the age of 17 to pursue a B.A degree in Theater and Dance at CSUDH. I graduated with Cum Laude honor and earned my own banner on campus. I’ve also trained in Hip Pop, Tap, Ballroom, African Dance, and Bellydance etc I have trained under Galen Hooks, Tina Landon(previous Janet Jackson’ choreographer), Antonio D’Byod(pervious principal dancer in Alvin Ailey’s Company), John Todd, Kenneth Walker, Jeff Hendrix etc. I have also performed in different events such as The American College Dance Conference; The LA Bachata Festival and College dance concerts. I stand out because I am a patient teacher with a confidence building system in class. I know what is the right technique for my students and I am all about my students success with a fun class setting.
