Hired on Thumbtack

The electrician came out, tested the dead circuit. I then asked for the issue to be diagnosed and fixed. He tested the panel, checked two outlets then tried pushing a full rewiring job of the 10-outlet bathrooms/garage/outdoor circuit, which would have run 5-6 thousand. I paid $300 for nothing, and he left with the circuit still dead. Called another company, tech came out and said it was the solar inverter panel between the breaker box and the house. Popped it open, reset the breaker, all in under five minutes. The Electric Comm tech was useless. The solar panel is, literally right next to the breaker box, should have been the second thing he checked. (Photos won’t load) Not happy, feel like I was totally ripped off by Thumbtack recommended contractor.
