About
Shift It Moving is a highly skilled and experienced company in the industry. We have over 10 years experience in the moving industry. We have been with Thumbtack for over 3 years and we are rated one of Thumbtacks best movers. The reason we qualify is because we provide 5 star service each and everytime. For you, you can expect reliable, strong, young movers that have all the knowledge and experience needed to move you. We have backgrounds in auto mechanics, warehousing, weight lifting, and of course working for other moving companies. I'm confident that our work ethic and preparation will have you blown away by our service. My approach to a military mindset of preparation and execution will shift the way you feel about moving!
Truely, what I love most about moving is the actual move itself! I love to lift heavy objects and lift things that intimidate other people. The challenge is on and has brought me to this, running a moving company! My journey started 3 years ago when I decided to part ways with other companies and bring back what the moving industry is missing most, passion and work ethic. Moving is not made for everyone and you have to love to be able to push yourself physically. What makes us great is our moving team has a passion for lifting weights and pushing ourselves physically to get the job done. We enjoy working out and getting paid at the same time!

Worked with Wesley - who is an amazing mover and the owner who helped move all my stuff from Pasadena to San Francisco! He was able to quickly load and unload the moving truck and be on our way. He was also very careful with the fragile items which I appreciated and even helped me fix some loose screws on my standing desk and my bed! I was initially worried since a lot of things can go wrong with movinglongdistance, but he had great service and took care of everything quickly!
Details: 1 bedroom home • 11 - 20 boxes • Load via freight elevator • Unload via freight elevator • 250 - 500 miles

Wesley and his crew were great- they confirmed with me ahead of time, showed up exactly when they were supposed to, didn’t over charge me for a single thing, and did everything they said they were going to do- relieved a lot of my stress on moving day. They were awesome. Highly recommend.

I am a huge fan of Shift-It Moving and have used them multiple times. They are highly responsive and value priced. They have even helped me with last-minute requests, whether the move has been complicated or has just involver few big items. I was especially grateful for their willingness to help me with the complex reassembly of industrial racks and office furniture.

FAQs
How did you get started doing this type of work?
A friend of mine came up with the idea. He said "Why don't we just start our own moving team! We love to work out and our approach can be better than what's out there!" After that, I took on this pursuit of creating this great moving team!
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with top level Interior Designers (one of Santa Monica's top rated), former NFL athletes (one played for the Cincinnati Bengals), current actors (Sam Hazeldine), Police officers, and a handful of the happiest families you could meet!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Call the business. Ask more about the company to get to know more about why they do what they do and how it can help you.
