FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Art installation: $80/hr including drive time. 2hr minimum. Every subsequent hour after the 2hr minimum is factored at the standard hourly rate of $80/hr. Hooks and hardware are charged separately. $1 per small artworks and $2 for larger works unless a specialty item like a cleat is needed for hanging. All artworks or other pieces like mirrors that have hardware provided will not incur a hardware charge. TV mounting: Same rate as above but there is only a 1hr minimum including drive time. Also, hardware is not charged to the client unless the client requires me to provide the mounting system. Furniture assembly: Based on the specific make and size of the furniture. Ask me directly for pricing. I accept cash, credit card, check, Zelle, Square cash app, PayPal, and VenMo. Payment is due upon completion of the job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we first speak through email, text, or on the phone, I’ll ask for an address to calculate drive time, the number of pieces to be installed, if there are any specialty items requiring specific hardware or tools, if there are any unique install locations like wood, brick, or stucco, if anything is larger than 6 ft in width, and also if any pieces are being installed higher than the standard height so that I may bring the required ladders or scaffolding. New customers should inform me how they would like to pay. Returning customers can make use of a previously setup payment process or elect to use a new form of payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional artist for the last 2 decades as well as a fulltime art installer. The range of clientele I’ve worked with is extensive and there is not much I haven’t seen project-wise. That being said, no project is too large or too small.
