The base price is generally $300 for up to 1 hour with 50 Select Edited pictures. Discounts apply after two hours and in other select situations.

On 10/25/25 Rufus photographed my proposal. I was promised 50 edited pictures and a short video. This is my first time hiring a photographer but there was some miscommunication when the shoot was done. I did not know I had to choose the 50 pictures I wanted edited. I thought he would choose them.
On 11/17/25 I texted Rufus to see if there was any update on the edited pictures. That is when I was told I still had not chosen the ones I wanted edited. You would think he would ask me maybe a week at most if I have chosen my pictures I wanted edited. But since I didn’t know that time waiting was for nothing. I then chose the pictures that same day I sent it back to him.
11/20/25 I asked him if he received my 50 pictures I wanted edited since he never replied back to me. He said yes and said he started to work on them.
12/06/25 texted Rufus again since I still have not been updated. He said the video was almost done being edited. So I assumed he meant the pictures too.
12/08/25 Rufus texts me saying it’s been uploaded and I tell him I can’t find them. He sends me a screenshot of the folders and I tell him he’s confusing me for another client with the same first name. He says he’s going to finish it by Thursday 12/11/25 but I have yet to receive my edited pictures and video.
I’m frustrated because of the lack of communication and promises but he keeps brushing it off.
Because I haven’t got the video or edited pictures. I’m going to hire a photographer to redo my proposal pictures.
It is not the same since it’s not the original proposal surprise. You have made this experience terrible for my fiancé who keeps asking me for an update. And I have to keep telling her it’s going to be done by the day Rufus keeps saying. It’s embarrassing.
Do not hire for proposal! He would be fine for something not as important and reliable to be on time. He was late to my proposal and almost missed my proposal.

Rufus was great! He drove a long way from home to meet us at a beautiful place for engagement photos. He takes gorgeous photos! He was patient and had good suggestions to help us relax and enjoy the process. I would suggest thinking of and maybe practicing some poses beforehand!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price is very low when compared to the avergae market procing. Discounts apply if the shoot time is more than 2 hrs. Our goal is provide quality content within client budgets.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask customer about the occasion, and what exactly the customer is expecting. Once I get an idea regaridng the event, I guide the client through locations, props needed, stills etc., and help them to get prepared for the shoot. This makes the customer comfortable and confident. I arrive 30 mins - 1 hr prior to shoot time and the venue and make everything ready before customer is available.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve done some online training sessions in Photography and retouch applications. I've also atteneded vrious seminars on photography which helped me to look at things in different perspectives.
