I have been designing over 30 years. I have worked with many manufacturers and suppliers, here and overseas, so I have a unique understanding of materials, and how furniture and textiles and fabrics are made. As an artist, while function is always important, I think outside the box in design, and develop solutions for a space that my customers may not see.
I love working with clients, developing a plan with them, making wise choices to achieve beautiful results that my customers love.

Karen responded promptly to my request and treated my project with care, even though it wasn’t a large-budget job. She made me feel like a valued client throughout the process, and was able to work within my budget. Karen is not only kind and personable, but also extremely professional and talented at what she does. I happily recommend her for any interior design project!

We are in the beginning stages of working with Karen. She has listened to our ideas and embellished them with her design expertise. Our budget discussions have been candid and there already is no fear of being absolutely honest about the project ideas.

Karen designed and furnished the significant remold of our Santa Barbara 4 bedroom home on time, on budget, and on promised results. We are really happy with the outcome. What impressed us about Karen was her professional approach, her creativity, her problem solving, and her management of a complex project. We can honestly say there was not anything that could have been better. We had heard so many stories about the disappointments in remolding but not in our case, thanks to Karen . We have a second home in Hawaii that could use Karens magic, and we are looking forward to working with her on the project.

Once items arrive and are placed,
