- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After years of doing hair and makeup only on weekends as a part-time job, I decided to quit the corporate rat race and work for myself, doing what I love most: hair and makeup. So, I started SB Hair and Makeup because I love making people feel beautiful. It's the most rewarding feeling for me to make someone look and feel their very best.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Go with someone who not only has a lot of experience, but someone who is all about you, and listens to what you want. I always tell my clients that they are the ones who have to wear the look I'm giving them, so I want them to get exactly the look they want. Also, integrity is everything in this business, so go with someone you feel like you can trust, who has a great reputation.
