I emphasize on refining basketball fundamentals to youth from 11 to 18 years of age, boys and girls. You will definitely feel the difference after working out in my training programs that will make my clients want to come back for more training sessions.
For $40 an hour, I offer my 25 years of experience, which includes 3 years of varsity HS basketball and coaching for over 10 years. I get players better and with things to work on for their whole lives, find passion for the game. I am providing 1-on-1 and small group basketball training during season and off season. I have specialized in 4 through 8-grade age, with emphasis in teaching fundamentals of the game. Workouts start with dynamic warm ups, basketball handling drills, and basketball shooting drills with special attention to shooting techniques. I, then, follow with defense concepts and drills. My workouts include and incorporate speed and agility to help young players improve and play at a higher level than their opponents. I also incorporate good leadership and team skills, including how to deal with situations in games by incorporating game-situation drills. Another great emphasis is how to have a good attitude with outstanding sportsmanship, and dealing with aggressive players and coaches. I am best in small groups of no more than 5 students, in order to critique players on how to continue to improve their strengths, and learn to overly improve their weaknesses. I guarantee that your son or daughter will improve after a minimum of 8 sessions, at 45 minutes each. 2 sessions a week are ideal, but 4 will provide faster improved results. These are with true experience in coaching and teaching young players about basketball. Another thing that I do with students is teach them how to work on their basketball skills at home, on their own. My sessions include giving students assignments until next session. I see even better improvements when given assignments at home (that calls for a minimum of 30 minutes on their own), in their garages, rooms or living rooms, if parents are okay with that. I am Safe Haven certified, with Youth Fitness Specialist I certification, and a continuing education through the American Coaching Academy.
