The pro helped replace our old thermostat with the smart ecobee. He had to run a new wire from the HVAC system to the thermostat for all controls to work. Overall excellent service. 100% recommend.

Alex, the owner, is a honest man with prompt communication, and a natural problem solver. He takes pride in his work which I appreciate. He came to troubleshoot my furnace that went down, replaced the gas valve which was broken, but then more issues came up which he spent the time to continue to troubleshoot. Even though in the end, he couldn't fully address the issue without me replacing more parts, he tried his best to give me a temporary solution which he really didn't need to. He could have just said "you need to replace these parts" and left, but he didn't. I think he really just tried to help a customer, and solve a problem. I will recommend him to others and am seriously considering his company for a bigger project.
Update in March: I decided to go with this company for new HVAC installation. I am more than thrilled with the entire process. Both Alex and Nikita (owners) are extremely professional and friendly. They don't take any shortcuts and take pride in their work which is not so common in my experience. Their pricing is also very competitive and they worked very hard to find the models that I will need. This is perhaps the best contractor experience I have had in many years here in the Bay Area. I would recommend anyone thinking about their HVAC needs to go with Iris Mechanical.

I was freezing at home for several nights, the central heating in my house stopped working, I contacted two companies who rescheduled the meeting every time and I continued to freeze. As a result, my friend recommended the company Iris Mechanical inc., which repaired and installed HVAC equipment for him many times, I called Iris Mechanical inc., the guys reacted very quickly and within an hour they were at my address, from the first minute of communication I realized that I was dealing with professionals! as a result, the problem turned out to be a faulty Furnace, they fixed everything on the same day! I definitely recommend these guys, they are real professionals!

I heard about Iris Mechanical from some friends who’d used them before and were happy with the service, so I decided to give them a shot. I placed an order pretty late in the evening, and by the next morning, a company employee had arrived with all the necessary parts and equipment.I wasn’t sure which smart thermostat I wanted to install, so the employee spent a good amount of time explaining to me the pros and cons of different systems.I have to thank Alexey for his patience and willingness to help me choose the best option for me. I was really impressed that they were so reasonable with the price, especially considering how much time they spent on me. I’d definitely recommend Iris Mechanical to anyone who values a good price-quality ratio!
